2020 Toyota Supra - CTS Catless Downpipe & Stage 2 Bootmod3 Dyno Results

Another dyno test for our A90 Supra, this time we are equipped with a catless downpipe from CTS and a 93 octane tune from Bootmod3. We start by dynoing the car without a Bootmod3 flash on it to see if it would pick up any power, then compare it to the car with a Stage 2 flash on it. We then slap a panel filter from HKS in the car to see if the car picks up any additional power. The results surprised us!

I think people are unnecessarily hating on supra! 2021 Supra is now much more improved than the 2020 Supra. 380hp, with 0-60 under 4sec and a competent and reliable tranny with far less electronics than a bimmer..

Tony Cutillo Depends what downpipe you buy and if your looking to buy an OTF tune or get a tuner, Probably 3-500$ for a downpipe and 5-600$ for a tune

Got mine downpipe for $600 ish and installed it myself with just some jacks and tools, pretty simple. Looking into tunes now and so far it doesn't seem too difficult to do either

I just got mine 2 days ago and the transmission is as close to a dual clutch that you can get with a cvt

No, they use bootmod3, there is an option to disable the signal for that code. Just a note, this is flashing the ECU, not piggyback.

Reece Savage It’s going to be hard since the demand just isn’t there for our platform, BMW shares a lot of their same parts across multiple vehicles which is why their tuning and after market community is so big and developed

@@LeJunny I had a Stinger, just sold it a month ago. Compared to the Supra is way different, the Stinger has excellent interiors, excellent sound, very nice and upscale. The transmission tune however, still needs to be improved, the Supra feels light and the transmission super responsive and always in the correct gear, I don't feel any jerkiness when slowing down to stop like in the Stinger. Power wise, the Supra is hands down better, it's lighter, close to the ground and very sharp steering feel. Check my channel, I have two runs, one for the Stinger, it made 13.1, and one with the Supra, it did 12.7. Both stock, same day, same conditions. Now with the downpipe and the tune, the Supra did 11.6 at 124mph, it's a good platform. But for long drives, commute and spirited driving, the Stinger is better.

0xCamus DevTime nice to get some feedback from a previous Stinger owner who now owns a Supra, I’m thinking of signing my car off later this year to get either a Supra, M2Comp, or a ZL1. Having a 4 door is nice and convenient but I’m only 20 so I want to enjoy the thrill of an all purpose sports coupe while I still can
