My son has been with this band for four years and I could attest to the fact that Doc will always keep it basic and that is to take time out and praise God for the great fortunes this Band has been given.I for one was there and people to left were also jamming! All praise to the Almighty🙏🏻💚🧡💯🐍
Mannnnn I’m a FRESH graduate of the HIGHEST of 7 hills. I’ll tell anyone “while people taken God out of School… here’s my HBCU!” The love that came out of that school can compare to NONE! I’ve had professors tell me “Chile you need to pray/get with God” I’ve had staff pray with me. I LOVE MY HBCU!!!! #1887 #SBI💚🧡🐍
Every time I hear this I get emotional. I played in the band in 1969 at MVSU and I know a great arrangement when I hear it. You all hit a home run with this one. Keep up the good work!!!!!
Brother Chipman, this is absolutely AWESOME! I happen to be a church musician for over 46 years. Some of my choirs have sung this. This is really GREAT! I love it when HBCU bands play gospel music. This is truly a classic!
thank you!! everything about this was great: the angle. the song. the director’s energy. the fans reaction to hearing it. the band students emotion while playing it.. *replayed it nine times before commenting. lol.
