Yes to the Thrift! And thrifting allows me to get those oversize looks without hurting the wallet. The men section is the key for me, to achieve this runway styles. Yes hard to find modest clothes in America. It’s either see through, has a slit, low cut, back all out or something else. But when I do find modest clothes that’s nice it’s $150 or more. I don’t know where to look anymore
Ah man, I feel you on this! Try rivafashion.me but click on the section that says "outlet" (the regular-priced items in store are quite pricey). You can find some real gems in the outlet section. It comes from Kuwait, and their pieces are incredible quality!

There's a store called Never New in Observatory. Not sure if you know where the McDonalds is in the main road? There's a road just behind it and Never New is there, plus there are about two or three smaller thrift shops in its direct vicinity.
