I bought a 2015 xlt F-150 no warranty, currently 223,000 miles and it has not give any problem love this truck it’s great on fuel, and drives like a limo, can’t wait to get this new one. Love it.

Thanks for bringing us this review Gold Pony. I eat in my car a lot too or do paperwork and I saw an idea on Pinterest that I adopted and I use it often. The “Life Hack” was to carry a metal Cookie Sheet in the vehicle to eat on or have as a flat surface to write on when you turn it over on the back. I set it in my lap. Works great!

I'm loyal to my Dodge ram rebel but I'm really happy to see Ford doing stuff like this. Shifting column folding down that's pretty smart. Innovation like this needs to happen so other companies step up and compete with each other. Great truck for anyone to own good job Ford!

The dual glove boxes are taken directly from Ram. The fold flat shifter is great for getting head while driving. That's about the only benefit I can see.

I was a Ford guy all my life until the new 2019 Ram came along, and Ford started pushing six-cylinder engines. The quality of the insides of Rams is much more superior! My Patrol cars sold me on the Hemi’s.

GREAT VID! That 30 Amp outlet looks more like a generator style outlet. Can an RV 30 Amp outlet adapter be utilized to provide 30 Amp service to an RV, while the F-150 engine is kept running, for an emergent situation? Please advise. TY

Why bother with a fancy folding gear shifter when you could use a column shifter?? Personally, I prefer trucks with a split front bench .

My 2013 F-150 3.5l eco-boost has the large 36 gallon tank, I can get 20 mpg. on the highway. I once drove it 690 miles without stopping for gas!

Looks great. The folding down shifter is neat but why not just have a column shifter instead to free up more space in the centre console? I personally wish trucks never got away from column shifters. Is there some benefit to having it in the middle that I’m not aware of?

Does the engine need to be running to use the power options in the bed of the truck? Is there an extra battery to use this power? Can we use a solar panel to charge the battery? Is there a solar panel included with the purchase of a Ford F-150? A lot of questions.

It’s the epitome of over engineering that they didn’t just move the shifter somewhere else or go to a simple button system. Instead a complicated folding shifter. That’ll be fun when it’s a few years old and gets jammed.

Can an adapter be used on the plug-in area to accept an RV 4 prong 30 Amp plug?

I didn’t know how I felt about ford before, but ever since I went to LA and drove a 2016 model it was a rental (it had four doors) changed my mind. The whole engine cut off when being stopped caught me off guard. Still a very nice truck! Loved the ride and gas mileage. I wouldn’t mind owning one. Just out of my price range. And I keep reading about the liability, disappointing. But I still think I’d own one.

There’s a lot of stuff that can go wrong. I think I’ll just keep my 2012 f150. I like my 6.2L.

Normal people can’t afford these trucks anymore.

I have a 2018 and speak from experience. The top of the tail gate is about two inches thicker than the middle which means whenever I go through an automatic car wash, the brushes can't reach the lower part of the tail gate. So the F150 logo has to be washed by hand.

What trim is the truck you are showing? I see it has the reflector style headlight, sport badging on bed, which made me think it's a XL. But the interior seems to be better trim. I'm a bit confused.

Great review as usual. That is a lot of truck....though a lot of money as well. Not convinced of the value.

Like the new truck and all the little added touches. Personally, I wish Ford would put some of the black trim/sport appearance package treatment on the king ranch/platinum/limited trim levels. Besides the more luxury options inside, different wheels, grilles and tailgate applications, the most common add on is a whole lot of extra chrome trim. (as well as a H.O. Ecoboost with limited) This seems odd considering they charge more for the black/ sport appearance package, and you are paying more for the upper trim levels, but you only get more chrome. Last rant, on this XLT in the video, you have the sport package which gives you the dark trim, but then oddly there is a chrome exhaust tip? A matte black tip would complete the look, IMHO🤷🏻‍♂️

According to the early configurator, you cant get the V8 with the Limited, does anybody know if this is true?

Looks more refresh - Nice updates. Interior upgrades are welcome but mostly just overall polishing with some added gimmicks on an already very good 2020.

3:41 The cover plate actually says 10 amps at 240v. Unless there's more to it than what's on the cover, this is actually a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to to see a 30amp @ 240v (7.2kw) option (disabling the 120v outlets). I was hoping this could be a potential alternative to buying a portable generator to plug into a home transfer switch for backup power. 2.4kw may be enough for very basic items, but being able to use the full 7.2kw in a home backup situation would be nice.

Damn Ford nailed it! I have a 2019 Roush F150 and I love my truck and look forward to the day I upgrade to the new model. Probably wont be for another couple years but damn they stepped it up but the price is knocking on the 100k door to get a fully loaded truck which is ALOTTA DAMN MONEY FOR A 1/2 TON PICKUP!!!
