HAVAL H6, this one right here I am not even going to beat around the bush, this is a "BUY". You see it once and you know it. If you can afford it go and check it out, test drive it and see if you will fall in love with it.
A Phill Simmons design (Former Land Rover Designer), 6 airbags, 5 star C-Ncap rating that is surely a looker.
The pricing on this car does not correlate with what it offers, in a perfect world, it should be around R600K.
China is really upping their game when it comes to quality in the automotive industry and GWM is pushing to fly their flag high with their latest offerings through Haval brand.

We went and test drove the new jolion and h6. Fell in love with The H6. We purposely went to Pretoria HAval and asked for Bruce , because of your videos ! Now I’m waiting for my H6 to arrive 🎉

Thanks for the review baba. We test drove the Super Lux version of both the Jolion and H6... Unfortunately, my wife won the "marriage couple arm wrestling match" and chose the Jolion (fantastic value for money). At this point I should say, the Jolion is in high demand and there isn't a dealer I could find without backlogs. 😅 @Sebuwa... after my comment on your Jolion review, I went and negotiated and renegotiated the best deal on a Superlux (7% interest rate from an initial 9%). So before you take the plunge.... don't just take the first deal offered to you. Fight like a mad dog or pray like a warrior 🙏🏽

Yooh Matthew I know the feeling and sometimes changing your lady's mind is a mission plus half. Well its not like you lost. Still got a great car overall. You did great there with the banl, credit score speaks volumes when it comes to that, I always say rather go to fight the banks yourself than ask the dealership ''how much is the installment''. You did a great job there. 👏🏾

@@tushardas9825 , not sure where you're located, try www.newcardeals.co.za if you're local. I got a R4500 discount on the superlux. They work directly with the dealerships so a dealer in your area should contact you. I tried initially asking for discounts directly with the dealers but since demand is still so high, I wasn't winning. All the best in getting the H6, as @sebuwa said, it's a no brainer😅

Hi guys. I hope I'm not too late for the party, it's concerning the interest s. My dealer said the interest rate I qualify for is 11% which was too high so I refused then she said 10.4% I think, I still feel like it's too high. Can somebody please help me before I make a mistake. what percentage must I accept?

This is my favourite car on the channel. at first it was the jollion but i think this is generally better. what i like best is how chery managed to give us one of the best looking suvs at such a low price. The interior and exterior design is great, plus it includes tech anyone would like from luxury cars. This is also the car that lead me to your channel and i was impressed by how in depth you go with the reviews.

You know I think other manufactures may not be able to keep up because labour might be cheaper in China due to them having enough people with the right skills in tech and manufacturing. Labour is a high cost to many manufacturers outside China. Now that China is catching up on quality and reliability, its going to be a serious challenge.

@@danai8806 I am still looking to test drive the H6 but its difficult especially if you have to pull one from the floor as they don't have enough stock and Haval said they only have 6 nationally for press. I Hope to get it and check how those work🙂

@@sebuwam The Woodmead dealer said they are getting proper 'showroom' stock in September. Don't know if that is applicable for all dealers or just them. Hopefully then more vehicles will be available for media. Good luck!

This is by far the best video in my opinion on my Channel alongside the one on the Jolion. I have chosen this video as my favourite video because of the in-depth analysis of the car down to even the smallest bits such as the sound quality of the audio system. Funnily enough the sound test section of the video was my favourite as I am a blooming audiophile and house music lover.

@@geoffcarr5357 Yeah Covid is keeping us in our shells for longer than we expected. I test drove a new one, having done less than 350km, Did around 30km or so, it was avaraging 10.1l/100km. Which is alright for a new car, I think it can settle at 8l/100km over time.

Hi Stephen, its very easy for it to wheel spin, especially if you floor it from stand still, it doesnt put the power down with ease. It needs some getting used to on the throttle then you will be fine. Its easy to get used to though!

Hey man, great video. Just wanted to clarify, the Haval website states that this car pushes out 150kw, the video states 140kw. Which is correct or are there different options...?

Hi Tushar Das, thanks for watching. Honestly it took me some time to convince myself to get a Haval. We bought the H2 in last year Feb and so far is has been great. Its not easy to switch to a chinese product when your mind keeps ringing "will it be reliable?". If I had to advise you though, this new products are even much more refined and feel more solid. Like I said, I have no reason to tell anyone not to buy this car. I would also buy it if I was looking for a bigger SUV than the one we have currently.

Motlatso, before I get to the comment, are you from Botlokwa, that name is from us Batlokwa? Anyway, I have one and so far I only went in for any service once for the routine one. What I picked up though is that with a fairly new brand you may have parts shortage as an issue. Remember when Kia redeemed themselves back in the early 2010s, you are mostly at the mercy of more people buying the brand for most RMI approved retailers to start stocking up on genuine parts than always waiting for the OEM to order for you. Overtime though it gets better. In the early stages it's usually that difficult.

Hi, I am really not sure about Bloem but if you have a Haval there, it should be there as Haval now releases internationally, I would believe they also share with dealership nationally regardless of shortages due to covid and semi conductor scarcity.

Hi, it does not look like the Super Lux we have here has that feature. Seen them in the other markets (Ultra variant). I stand to be corrected though.

Its on 225/60/R18 tyres. No such thing, you can buy it anywhere. You can google that tyre size and get it anywhere.

I am really not sure because this car has not been driven enough to see the real fuel consumption. On paper though they are more or less equally matched.. 8.1L/100km for Jolion and 8.3-8.5L/100km for H6

Would have been great indeed considering that its a big car, a 2ltr diesel would reduce consumption. I think they do this on purpose, diesel is definitely gonna be phased out before petrol in cars that are not industrial-orientated.

I covered the infortainment in this video. I could not check the android auto and other driving aids at the time. Unfortunately due to covid-19 I am limited in visiting dealerships and doing test drives for a while (family orders). The videos I will be releasing will be mainly from the vault, having been kept in there before the level 4 lockdown.

Well, I have seen some speccing it with a brighter grille. Not sure if its chrome. I don't really love too much chrome as it makes cars too shiny. Otherwise, I am not sure if you can brighten up the grille through options offered by Haval in SA.

Apparently Haval has a very bad after sales service. People have been complaining about rust, gearboxes, braking systems and struggling to get a good service. There is a Facebook page on this from South Africans.

This 2021 H6 is manufacturing based on a new platform, gWm grows and improves fast, this model has been the suv selling champion in China, generally no big quality issues occurred
