Up here in Canada for winter riding we need hot chocolate and the mentallity of, "Ah, maybe I will ride in the cold tomorrow or the day after!" LOL. Waiting on my new 2022 300 XC TPI.
sir, can you confirm that the bike has no oem fan harness? from ktm website state 2021 300 xc fan will be control by engine management system (ems), if thats the case it should have the oem harness?
I did not see ...............although I assumed like all the other ones that it didn't have the wiring for it. Ill check next time I have it apart. If it does it would be great ... ill let you know
@@ReeceTasker it state in ktm website says the optional fan will be control by the EMS without needing additional thermal sensor, so im assuming it has the oem wiring for the fan but everyone seem to say it has no wiring harness. so im just confuse.
My 2019 XCW 300 TPI runs and handles better than the 20 and 21's. So I think it's rider decision on how great the bike is. I'm selling my 2020 XC because my 19 is just better in every way. I purchased it because guys like you say how great they are. cheers
Id agree with you kind of. The 19s were good, the 21s are awesome. The 20 required me to turn the idle/air screw out a fair way which cleaned up the idle and changed the plug out to the iridium and its been amazing since
My 2020 required iridium plug, idle screw and power valve change, its still got a slight stutter at about 20% throttle still but it doesnt effect performance, as im at rarely riding at that throttle range.
not sure why your bike has plush suspension, my bike has some of the harshest suspension, front and back, that I have ever been on, it has deflection on anything larger than an inch high and im headed for a revalve. I do love the motor!
Strange, it is really plush, rides great. My 2020 is also great but more of a MX feel than an enduro feel. My Girlfriend rides the 2021. How heavy are you? maybe you are out of range of the suspension? Have you adjusted the clickers to soften it up? so even on the lightest settings on the suspension its still not soft enough?
@@ReeceTasker I tried it all. I am within the setup range of the springs, suspension has this initial harshness which I cannot get out no matter how its set up. I got a 2018 SX which is a ton better. The only thing I did not try was changing the AT81's for my favorite rocky terrain tire. guess I should try that before revalves. There is a thread floating around in "thumpetalk" where the guy complains about the same thing. Go figure?? Im kinda bummed about it
