2021 Lincoln Nautilus: Same look, NEW TECH 

The taillights remind me of the ones from the latest Porsche Cayenne.

We should all be happy that Lincoln is coming back with things like this and the Navigator. It would be nice if they could make a new Zephyr, Mark coupe, or a proper Continental with RWD/AWD, but that’s not what the people want right now.

@@gedaman agree with you, BUT I hate the new screen. I loved the old design of the Nautilus, was much simpler (2020).

@@williamweck7087 I have a 2015 Ford Edge Titanium. I like the simpler interior designs that Ford/Lincoln used to have, but I am glad that they’re innovating and keeping up with the competition. Larger infotainment system screens are now becoming the norm and soon most new car buyers will get used to them. I think it’s progress in the right direction and am considering a new Lincoln Nautilus in the future.

@@gedaman yep. I like the old also, but the new screen is beginning to grow on me. However, it seems to be kind of distracting and more difficult to use

@@williamweck7087 Every car company is going to that iPad sticking up like a sore thumb. It looks like Lincoln over did it.on this one. I like the idea of not having to carry that big fob in my pocket and can use my iPhone instead. The Nautilus and Corsair are nice looking vehicles and should really give the brand a new lease on life. Starting to see more of the big model Aviator and Navigator’s on the road.

Interior is only two years old so yeah.

@@leroy5202 No it isnt The interior is 5 years old, the Nautilus is rebadged Lincoln MKX that recieved a different grille and taillight back in 2018...but it retained the same interior It was using the Lincoln interior style that began with the Lincoln MKZ in 2012 It was old as dogshit

@@joecool9739 Ik, my dad had a 2016. The grill they updated in 2019 is update with the rest of the lincoln line up and now the interior is.

The Edge is supposed to be. Doubt the Nautilus will since Ford just invested money into this refresh.

Did you not watch the entire video? It has a all new dashboard with new soft touch materials and a new bigger touch screen.

Yes, it has massage seats and parks itself.

@@allenmovies Just got an email today promoting the 2020 but not the 2021. Will have to check out the Nautilus when that year's model arrives. Will be interested to see if it has the under console storage like the Aviator which would be very handy for the ladies purse instead of having it in the footwell where she sits. Will also have to see how far the screen is away from the driver as at my age with shoulder issues, it is difficult to access in the MKX now. Would be nice if it had a rotary dial like the Genesis has. Not sure why the motor companies can't make the voice commands work with more than the phone and navigation as it would be nice to have that to turn on the heat, A/C etc. Thanks for the info.

@@phlotographer The 2020 self parks and has massage seats too, and both model years have that store area youre referring too.

@@allenmovies thanks so much for that info. I have loved my MKX and could keep it with only 106K Km but some of the new features which are of benefit to both my wife and me and because I have been happy with the dealership, I think I now have to keep the new Nautilus in the mix. Might even have to ask them when to expect the ability to view and test drive the 2021 and also see if the HPEV option will occur and check out the costs related to that.

Pretty sure you've gotta be pressing the brake in order to change those gears... so I'm not sure how that would be "an accident waiting to happen." It's not like you just can accidentally throw it into reverse while driving 😆

Consumer Reports actually scored the Nautilus and Navigator well. The Corsair and Aviator are what tanked Lincoln scores.

Consumer Reports can be extremely ridiculous about reliability reporting. For example, they have downgraded mechanically sound vehicles for things like a lack of buttons for heated seats or radio controls. Lincoln has suffered from such criticisms in their past reliability reports and I know many owners who have never had a single issue with their newer models (excluding early Aviators).

Ford Escape

I like the Aviator in many ways but the overall look is not as nice and its length is a bit long. Going to check out the GV80 for length in this class as I love my MKX but also will look at the MME and also the new Tucson but it might be a bit short which is why I had hoped for more in the Nautilus -- closer to the Aviator.

15 MPG -- yes not very good but fortunately as one of those old guys I don't drive a lot of miles so don't worry about it.

This car is not assembled in China! The Nautilus is assembled in Canada! The Nautilus is also sold in China and those are assembled in China for Chinese customers. Get your information correct..
