Thanks for posting this, seems like there are endless bar end adaptors out there and none are for these bars with those rubber dampers Yamaha has stuck in there. That graves adaptor solution is great, just ordered a set.

The Graves bar end mirror adapters are also available in Black. Wish I would have known that before I ordered the silver ones. I have a Black MT-09.

Thanks for your excellent videos and tutorials-makes things SO MUCH easier. What size bolt did you end up using when adding the stock bar ends onto the graves adaptors (e.g., length, thread count…and I’m assuming you stuck with the 5 mm)?

Can you use the CRG adapter with the stock bar ends or do you need the graves adapter for them to fit?

You will need the Graves bar end adapter to use a stock or aftermarket bar end with the mirror.

Congratulations! Happy for you! I believe in the update video I did it’s an M6 Allen screw by 80mm long. Got them at Ace Hardware. Stainless steel. Ride safe!!

Did you order the R1 adaptors from cycle gear? I’m trying to keep my bar end crash protection on the bike.

Yes. I order them for the 2018 R1 but they fit my MT09 2021 an up as well as the 2016 plus R6
