Bought my 04 Titan new, 16 years later, over 200k miles of hard driving and hauling, only about $1300 in repairs in the past 16 years. Most definitely I will buy another new Titan in coming months.
You kept saying Japanese truck.. Titans where designed in California.. Engine / trans I believe are made in Tennessee Assembled in Mississippi. Titans have just as much or more American made content then any of the big 3 garbage pickups being made. Big 3 have terrible fit and finish and horrendous reliability. Titans have low sale numbers because of uniformed buyers and video commentators. People think their buying American with the big 3 when they really are not. Ram = FIAT Ford and GM ship more jobs out of America then most people could image. I believe the crew cab Silverados are made in Mexico .. Those Japanese manufacturers you talk about employ massive amounts of Americans and build huge numbers of vehicles in the USA. Honda..Toyota and Nissan are far more American then most will give credit. I'll take the Titan over any of the big 3 and 10 years down the road it will be way more reliably. Ive owned every big 3 pickup and everyone of them had massive mechanical issues. All they care about are numbers and quality last. They just want you to bring it in for fixing .. GTHOH. If I just paid $60k for a truck Ill be damn if I want it in the shop.
@@mikeriv60Mexicans don't design and engineer trucks for GMC. GMC just gives them jobs in their home land to make a profit off cheap labor and Nissan, Toyota are no different. 🤣
Have a 2021 titan pro 4x . Good review but u went in very negative right from the start. What u get is a far better factory warranty than Ford chev gmc n dodge. By 2 years. Fit n finish alone squashes the other trucks . Oh yaa n standard safety features across the board not the others just added on options. You get what u pay for . Titan also gives far better feedback thrue steering wheel feel . You know ur dr a truck still rest feel very lite n floaty
Are you on the newest one now? How do you like it. I’m torn between the Ram and the Titan. I want a truck for at least 10 years and worry about FCA reliability. How’s that new trans, any issues with it so far?
@@michalp2362 NISSAN TITAN is the way to go, I am using TITANS for last 10 years, and they never let me down , not even once. Currently I have 3 TITANS 05, 08 and I just bought 2019 PRO 4X brand new from the dealer with 6 inch lift kit 35 inch tires, amazing truck (its in my ID pic) TITAN is the best truck out there. I LOVE TITAN.
@@syedhussain3810 did the truck come to the dealership with the kit and tires, or installed at the dealership? If you don’t mind just wondering how much it cost for that. Amazing looking truck man, dream set up.
Bought a 21 pro 4x yesterday for 6k off msrp. No other manufacturer dealers were offering any discounts. Got the amazing warranty, it’s fully loaded and it cost the same as a lightly loaded ram 1500 bighorn…the headlights are the best I’ve ever had or seen in my life. We love it.
I have this truck for 2 weeks and I love it. I changed my 2017 Frontier Desert Runner and is a big upgrade for me. Makes the same miles X gallons. I never had a truck with a luxury interior like this.
I just bought a 2020 Titan Pro 4X in black with all the bells and whistles and love it! Got a great deal from Nissan. I test drove many and this was my favorite by far! The panoramic moonroof is awesome. Best truck I’ve ever had!!!
Ram has been using relief spring suspension in the rear since at least 2015, Ford just starting using it again in 2021 on one of their base models. Titan is a remarkable truck.

Great overview Kevin. A chick was checking you out at 7minutes+47 seconds in the video. Alright man, keep these reviews coming. You are down to earth and gives each viewer the real stuff without the bullshit. Yes, other car reviewers can review a brand spanking new 1975 Chevy Vega and be thrilled by it's fuel economy but totally miss the point that it was a crappy car to begin with. So, appreciate you keeping it real.
I purchased a 2021 Nissan Titan SV last month. I’m not brand loyal, I’m all for whoever gives me the best deal. Nissan gave me that. Brand new truck for 30k? Yeah, I’ll take that.
Great review! I just upgraded to this same truck from a 17 Titan SV. I can tell you the interior on the 21 p4x feels just a touch smaller than the 17. The rear seats are bit shorter imo also so you hit the nail on the head with that.
@timnweber I have the same, Baja Sandstorm. I love the truck but the one thing I don't like is the pedal lagg and gimpy transmission. I didn't notice it when I test drove but really started feeling it while the truck was in learning mode. My truck (and many others) seems to experience some wonky shifts and gear hunting, especially when it's downshifting and then given gas. There is a tsb for the 20 but bit the 21 I don't believe. Other than that I love it. I upgraded the suspension to the 3" Icon as well.
I have never owned a truck. Coming from a V8 Durango. But now I want to go overlanding. So far this is my favorite out of this highly competitive market. Thanks for the review.
Ready to put my 2017 Titan 5 ltr. Cummins S.L. to the test. Fulltime r.v. towing a 2021 Lance 2375. 12k with 650 torque is well above 7.5k g.v.t.w.. Longevity and fuel economy was my initial goal. I purchased the truck knowing I was going to purchase this trailer.
Nice yea the 2019 and up RAMs really impressed me I think I mentioned it in this review but thats more of a lease vehicle. This Titan was excellent, let me know if you pull the trigger on one!
I narrowed my choices down to RAM Laramie vs Titan Pro4X. Both are great trucks. I wish Titan had Ram’s back seat comfort and space versatility. Would’ve been an easy choice for me.
Love this Titan, but that delay from the peddle to the engine seems kind of bad. Seen another video talking about that flaw, wonder why that is? And that thing in the front cluster is a (Trailer brake controller), controls the brakes if you’re towing a trailer so it’s not all being put on the trucks brakes. Really nice to have.
@@MeynMotorGroup I have just under 30,000 miles into my lease & I want something newer for better MPG. The touch screen on my truck isn’t working as well as it once did & the remote start isn’t as reliable as it once was.
I see, yea if you can get a high trade in value it might be a good idea to sell. Perhaps look into the new F150 hybrid since fuel economy is important? I haven't tried it personally but seems promising
@@MeynMotorGroup don’t get me wrong. I love my, RAM. It’s an absolute BEAST on the road. When my friends get into my truck they’re blown away as to how smooth it is of a ride. They love how high it sits as do I. They have a ton of room & enjoy the experience. I also love it. However, the MPG is killing me. I’m near the end of my lease & I’m facing the decision to either finance the remainder of the cost or trade it in with a positive equity for a newer model.
@@circlesofficialmusic Buy the Titan you'll be happy. I've owned 2 Rams and yes they where OK but did have suspension issues. That cylinder deactivation is the problem with all these big 3 V8s and all that techno-wizardry they have, wait till it breaks. You better pray you have a warranty because that crap is going to be very expensive to fix.
The towing numbers remain the same will all titans. The f150 can have the highest number or lowest number. Almost all f150s sold probably cant tow more than the titan. Considering the most engines sold are the 2.7
@@MeynMotorGroup the XD is not a half tom titan. Its a 5/8ths ton truck, it weighs a lot more than any half ton and can handle heavier loads. It will tow more loads in the 10k range better than an f150 which is lighter. F150 is versatile, but no one knows what their truck can actually do. I went to a dealer yesterday and the salesman said as long as I had a 3.5 i could tow 12700 pounds. I laughed for 5 minutes and had to break down all the requirements and then asked him how many people he has killed because grandpa joe is out there towing 12700 pounds with a f150 limited that can only handle 8000
@@JayCo- I test drove the tundra and titan each several times and I’d have to say the titan motor wins out. Power band was better and the exhaust note was amazing for a stock exhaust.
