He was slicing those big, I can’t believe you guys were able to get through 19 varieties. I thought for sure someone was going to tap out 😂 I’ll need to add purple haze I guess. Haha
Happy New Years from Gonzales La. Just found you online and looking at your website I realize you are in the Lafayette area. Been growing some Ecuador Palora from seed (Experiment) and now I think I just need to get some cuttings from you. I’m gonna limit myself to two varieties. I’m often in Lafayette on business so maybe I can buy some fruit first to help me decide? Do you sell fruit as well?
I enjoyed this video a lot. All I have are Physical Graffiti which I think is self sterile but somehow I have some fruits forming. I watched this video hoping to get some insight into which variety I should get for pollen to pollinate my PG?
As a general rule, PG is purple flesh. Stay away from Purple flesh pollen and use Red or White flesh fruit pollen. Most Pink flesh fruit pollen will work too.
Weather conditions have alot to do with size and taste. Year after year it changes slightly. Nothing we grow yield those results, the only thing close is a hybrid we grow called Double D.
My wife and I were given some dragon fruit vines 7 years ago and we've done fairly well with them for personal use, but I would like to find out what type/variety that we have. Is there some place in Southern California that I can go to and find out.
I’m in Southern California I guess the taste is different depending on here’s its grown. Fruit in Hawaii tastes better not sure how the Hana will taste if grown in California .
