@@CarCoachReports How’s the power on it? Is it sluggish during take off I’m torn between the xse hybrid & the accord touring hybrid I’m tired of high ass gas prices 😫😆 I have a 2013 Azera Limited 293 HP great on gas though I guess cause I take care of it but I really want a hybrid

Having owned and driven my CHR since 2018, it's the SPORTS Mode that is the car's true performance to fuel economy ratio. It all comes down to how well you work the accelerator pedal eg., the Pulse & Glide technique. I can get 28km to a litre traveling in SPORT mode over a two way distance of 22km each way. Average speed 100kph.

Owned a '96 Camry for 16 yes. Great car. Ordered a 2021 but problems getting what I. XSE HYBRID with lots of options but again chip shortage a problem. Silver 2 tone nice. May wait for 2022. I like your videos.

The engine is NOT 118 HP it is 176HP plus the hybrid system which brings it up to 208HP.

Right after she brought up the 4 cylinder engine at 118hp, she added the electric motor, which brings it up to 208hp.

I've just put a deposit on a Camry Hybrid SX for AUD44K driveaway with window tint, boot liner and bonnet protector included. However, there's 8 months waiting time.

Hi mate Me too ordered mine last month here in canberra for sx hybrid and the waiting time is 8 month they said. Have u tested how is the sport suspension and due to 19 inch wheel. I am wondering how luxirious will be the ride and cabin noise due to 19 inch wheel.

I hear you guys referring to an SX what is that closer to in the US. Is it the sport model like the XSE.. I have seen other letters used for our luxury model which is the XLE. I know in Saudi Arabia they have entirely different letters and names as well..

@@CarCoachReports I have one boy who is a bit taller at 7.4 1/2. Another 7.1. The other 3 are 6.10, 6.9 and 6.7. And 2 girls. One 6ft and one tiny lik one who is 5.3. So, the 2 eldest boys are more of a normal size. They call the second youngest brother "Lurch". My brothers calk me Fredo, the lesser brother. And hippie, D.A. and a host of unrepeatable other names. Like Monkey, Godzilla, and names that aren't repeatable here. I was always the freak in H.S. was 6.3 at age 12.

10:36 I see the eco/pwr gauge has a quarter of the eco with a green line underneath, and a white line on the next quarter. Is this to show that maybe with the "white line eco" that the engine is charging the battery?

Its the mode you are driving in. Green is all EV, white is hybrid.

Tough call - both are great choices. Check your insurance rates and then the price of the car and the answer will be clear.

Toyota hybrids don’t use a typical CVT with belts and pulleys. It’s a planetary gear setup that is like direct drive to the wheels between the electric and gasoline motors. Extremely reliable design as it’s well proven in the Prius.

The 15.8 gallon fuel cell os waaay too small for the V6. Good news, the Highlander has an 18 gallon fuel tank and it's a bolt in, well, mostly. But I REALLY like THIS Camry.

@@CarCoachReports Sits lower to the ground and really hugs the road much like a Honda Accord 2.0T. And, this generation Camry is much better than the previous generation Toyota Camry which ran from 2002-2017. The 2007 was revised with a longer wheelbase and less trunk space(16 cubic feet vs 18 cubic feet for the the 02-06 Camry). And in 2009, the 2.5L replaced the 2.4. Then in 2012, Toyota gave the Camry a major restyling and upgrades. Then once again in 2015. The Sonata N Line handles far better than both.

Up until generation 6 Toyota Camry had a 18.5 gas tank. Generation 7 had a 17 gallon tank. Now, generation 8 has roughly 16 gallon tank. The L which was discontinued has a 14.5 gallon tank.

@@jeffreyfurtado3681 17.1 claimed fuel capacity to be precise. Why does MY 17 Camry XSE have the 18.5 gallon capacity fuel take then? And the new gen Camry has a 15.8 gallon fuel cell. Get educated on the facts. Specs.

For me, the Camry has been eliminated, not due to any of the features or quality, but because the closest dealer is 50+ miles away and the Honda and Hyundai dealers are right in town. If I need warranty service I can get it with shuttle service back to my house.

Just a quick update. I bought an Accord hybrid in February. There was a problem with the ABS system about two weeks after we bought it. I brought it in, to the dealer and they diagnosed it diagnosed it and ordered the new parts. Fixed it in the space of a few days. I’ve been very satisfied with their service.

Just took my 2021 SE hybrid in to the Dealership w 9k miles, the computer screen rattles when the dash gets hot and dealership said "that's consistent with all of them" Really??? This is not a GMC, it's a Toyota! Any info, advice?

They should be able to fix this at no cost. This sounds like a simple fix but should never have left the factory like this.

The Honda Civic is not a comp to the Toyota Camry at all. The comp is the Honda Accord. Then later in the video mentions the Honda Accord is the comp, but defends comment lol.

It is impossible to never use a drop of gas because this is not a plug-in hybrid. Even if you drive under 30 MPH once the battery depletes the ICE engine will come on.

Yes the comments on EV mode are so wrong. It is good for slowing driving around a parking lot or the drive through not going around town. Very good details on the interior review section though, and most will not understand why Toyota is adding certain tech like paddle shifters, but not including more charging options for rear passengers, etc.

We each rate each catalog differently. My quality covers build quality, panel gaps, paint, brand quality components, interior fit and finish and warranty. Each reviewer will rate them differently as well.

As always Toyota quality and reliability top notch but I will stick 100% to regular V6 engine over hybrid one. Hybrid technology is ENDLESS MONEY PIT Down the road.

You're part of a small minority among Camry buyers. Fewer than 5% of all Camrys sold in the US are V6s. A figure that surprises many self-styled "enthusiasts." But it goes a long way toward explaining why Toyota, as well as Nissan, Hyundai, and KIA don't offer features such as AWD on their higher performance mainstream sedans.

@@stephenhendricks103 But to.be honest, I will not take AWD car bcs that contribute to poor gas mileage and complexity of AWD system, I had 2 cars with AWD and I didn't have good experience with it, poor gas mileage and really no reason to have that system unless someone want to have for racing purpose, people complain abt snow that is hard with front wheel variant, I never had any problem with cars in snow that had front wheel drive and I live in Chicago. AWD system is great for racing purpose, people who goes on tracks and stuff, except that is waste of money on gas but to each their own ofc.

It is like a fad it is also easier to do than integrating it into the dash.. some like it and say it looks more updated.. I like it when it is integrated into the dash butter myself.. it doesn't really matter however they make it it's okay with me.

@@Dunkaroos248 I saw a video today that said the Kia Sorento SUV was one of the worst cars for resale.. they said in 3 years it depreciated 50%. It was more the worst cars in the industry along with other Korean brands.. you don't really notice it now as there are a shortage. However when things get back to normal their value will really plummet like it did before.
