Carlsen now in a 3-way tie for fourth most world chess championships of all-time. His 4-0-7 record in this match appears to be the most dominant score in a championship since Lasker-Janowski in 1910 (8-0-3).

Magnus didn’t do fxe2 so he could toy with his opponent and grind out another endgame win. Nepo wanted to die on his sword Magnus was like nah you gonna play this out

Nepo threw the match after game 6. That's my opinion, you just don't see these type of blunders at this level, ever. One you can perhaps forgive, but three? When I say he "Threw" the match, what I mean is that after game six, he felt that he couldn't beat magnus and gave up. It is unfortunate as he brought the match into disrepute. Magnus was upset with his antics and said so. The truth hurts.

Carlsen hasn't lost a World Championship game in 6 years.... he doesn't need to fix the match
@tomatoisnotafruit5670
@tomatoisnotafruit5670 2 года назад
Nepo came into this match thinking he can draw all 14 games and then try his luck on tie breaks, Magnus broke him down both literally and physically in Game 6 and Nepo threw the rest of the games to end it faster and get his paycheck for participating, there is nothing wrong with this match other than Nepo is not a worthy challenger. Also Magnus was so unimpressed with Nepo that he said he doesn't even want to play the next WC unless it's Firo.
