Hi Gary, I usually don't comment on that for the exact same reason. On top of that, there are some great companies out there making aftermarket sticker kits, and in case of a stupid crash...well we've all been there. I know man, work in progress. Helmetcam zou binnenkort veel beter moeten zijn. En verder ben ik vaak afhankelijk van aangeleverd materiaal...maar daar probeer ik hard verandering in te brengen. Yep, exactly my point. In one way I would love for them to go full iPad display, on the other hand a rev meter/gear indicator would do. Now they've gone somewhere in between with a clear layout...but so. many. options. Thanks for your comment and enjoy your bike!

Hi Paul, I'm a fan of Michael Neeves too :-) He is without a doubt one of the most experienced test riders in the world and a nice guy to chat with on bike launches...even though that doesn't necessarily mean I agree on this point. I found the suspension settings on this bike to be just perfect for my 1m75/80kg frame. (I'm guessing Michael weighs like 10kg's less) Yes, it does have stiff springs, but I never found it uncomfortable and the bike was very confidence inspiring on rougher asphalt as well. I will admit though, that it had been a couple months since I have last ridden the previous model RS. Then again: it's still a super naked, so ofcourse it might feel stiff depending on your frame of reference. In my opinion, the bike feels how a super naked should feel: light-footed, stable, aggressive. If anything, the rear should could have used more compression damping on track... Another point which was mentioned by Neevesy (and maybe some other reviewers) was a jerky throttle response. And here I couldn't disagree more. The smooth throttle response - also from a closed throttle mid-corner - was one of the biggest positives for me on this bike. I guess sometimes different test riders have different opinions. Oh, and a different set of fork springs + installment for a fully adjustable Öhlins fork probably won't blow the bank when you're looking at a 15K+ motorcycle... ;-)

Interesting what you say about throttle response,, one of the most important things for me as you are constantly interacting with it. Old, but my Tiger Sport has one of the smoothest throttles ever. Maybe a positive triumph thing. Conversely my 18 MT 09 is pretty jerky still on off throttle even after being mapped. Love supernakeds, had a Gen 1 SDR and 2003 Tuono. Look forward to your review of the new Tuono 👍 Keep up the great work!

Hi Manfred, It's possible to do wheelies with the TC in Sport and Road mode. I didn't try it in track mode separately - most wheelies in this video were done in Track mode, but with TC turned off. But honestly: the throttle response and power delivery is just so smooth on this bike, that I would probably never put the traction control on, apart for horrible weather situations in which you don't want to be on a naked bike anyways. Thanks for your question!

@@MaxxMotoDotBe thanks for the reply. For my point, TC is a pure saftey feature what won't hold you back on a street ride. I just don't get the point why Triumph always combine TC with the 0 wheelie control possiblity... Speed Triple heritage is basically to be a wheelie machine.

@@manfredselak267 It depends. Sometimes if you do clutch wheelies it is nearly impossible not to trigger the TC. This doesn't mean that wheelies are impossible. But yes, the Speed has always been a wheelie machine and it still is. Especially at higher speeds...mindblowing.

De Arrow Low Down (race-) uitlaat op het vorige model was alvast niét normaal. Zo luid! Op deze zou ik gewoon de standaard pijp houden. Prachtig afgewerkt, luid in toeren en stil als je rustig rijdt, echt zoals het hoort.

Ik heb em ondertussen een aantal keren herbekeken - en uiteraard ook besproken met de rijder voor me. Rubber achtergelaten op de nummerplaat, maar that's it. Was inderdaad op het randje, ik was al klaar om in het gras te duiken. Don't try this at home.

@Maxx Moto Haha kan gebeuren he, was ook wel een rotte plaats om te remmen juist bij het buitenrijden van de bocht 😂

@@BKLYF Goh, het is de eerste keer dat me dit overkwam - misschien ook wel omdat de GoPro achterop hing en ik net extra dichtbij wilde rijden. Maar in groep sowieso is het het risico niet waard. 20/20 hindsight... :-)
