I personally drive a 2017 Chevy SS Sport Sedan with the LS3 V8, and 6 spd Manual. If I could afford the 'WING, it would absolutely be my car. Nothing there that's *not* to like; Style, Class, and a whisper shy of 700hp. (Which could easily be fixed with a BTR Stage II cam, and tune - probably make 725hp) Can't think of a car I'd rather have. Sorry, Elon...the Plaid might be quicker, but this car, does indeed, have SOUL

The ct5 sport I have has everything the blackwing has minis the engine and bucket seats and also have the Bose speakers but also have the two tone interior as well red stitching and carbon fiber everywhere like the blackwing, my sport is fully loaded I wasn’t a caddy person but I fell in love with this my CT5 Sport. I don’t regret it.

I have some fun rides including BMW M and a '22 CT5-V Blackwing (replaced my V3 CTS-V.) No regrets. BMW M cars are better luxury cars and the Blackwing is the better performance car in my experience.

I would LOVE to do a colab, so we can compare your Blackwing, and my Scat Pack Widebody Charger. Both 4 door, both powerful beasts, but obviously different. Mine is a fully loaded with all the gizmos...and I wont lie, Im tempted to order one like yours but with the beige race seats, instead of going with a Jailbreak. Obviously price is about the same...but they are so different, and baring getting a good deal on my Charger (which I just got lol) it would be tough with two 100k plus cars at once... But yeah, I do think viewers would like to see this kind of comparison, as the lack of options out there for big V8 RWD cars is dwindling...so you end up with wierd choices, like Caddy vs Dodge.

@@samiwasti8400 No lol. Maybe in 2020. In 2022, a JB was 105-110ish, and the Super Stock was 114 MSRP, if you could find them with no markup. I had turned down many SS with 30, one with 40k markup on top of their MSRP. Managed to get a fully loaded one, and with taxes and all...well, its was up there. Above any of the numbers I said so far lol. But still, the Caddy was and still is on my list to get, but it will be either it or the ZL1 (I will say, Ive come to like the white starship interior since I wrote the comment)

@@samiwasti8400 That has to be bare bones then. I know of a Redeye near me, 89k, but nothing in it at all, and 5k miles. For a car like this, the average mileage is 1200, so thats deemed high miles. A midrange equiped one will be much higher, and if you get all the options, it gets up there. You can go to the website and see how it adds up if you go click crazy on the options lol

Looks are subjective but I prefer the looks of the caddy to m5 and e63 amg. Thought the cts-v was also better looking than those two. Only one I would prefer over it is panamera but very different price points.

No. Lmao. These are manufactured in the US and the engines are manufactured at the Bowling Green Kentucky Corvette plant and the engines are hand built by a single builder, with his name on the engine

Good review but electric cars are hardly a foregone conclusion. And, the insane gas prices you refer to are the result of bad policies - not shortages or technical issues. Instead of forcing EVs down our throats, shouldn't we give folks a choice and let them decide? That's the American way. One size does not fit all. If we don't buy EVs, they will eventually have to stop their religious fanaticism about them

So guys listen, here’s why that thing is harder on gas then my Truck, The Blackwing has a V8 in it that is the same size as the engine that the Dodge charger SRT Hellcat Redeye has but obviously it isn’t the same engine, the Blackwing’s engine is also a twin turbo and that is what makes it harder on gas then my Truck while My truck isn’t Turbo Charged or isn’t a twin turbo it is actually just a 2.3L 4 Cylinder

Ya but Charles you have to consider the 40 to 50 year gap in your understanding of what manufacturers are trying to accomplish. Do you remember Cadillac's target demographic back in your day? They designed those cumbersome blimps that you use to own for people, like you, who didn't want drive in the first place. You'd rather sit on the sofa. So Cadillac stuffed the inside of there cars with comfortable furniture to make it seem like you put wheels on your living room. They were suffocated gutless motors and the de villes turned a corner like a 3 mast clipper ship. And after 5 years all those ridiculous electric motors-that made you feel so upper class--that closed the trunk or tied your shoes began to break. So of course you don't like the new Cad's they are designed for people who enjoy driving and like cars.
