In this one, we're getting rid of the ugly snow plow on the front of the Super Duty! Replacing the 8-INCH valance in favor of the 2-INCH Tremor valance. Looks like we lifted it and best of all, IT WAS FREE after I used my FordPass rewards! Part #LC3Z-17626-CA

4:10 nope those are to keep you from climbing up a hood of Toyota Prius during a head on collision killing the driver and you rolling over the truck... It is essentially to catch the frame of the truck and pull the suspension down

Brackets are included for snow plow not a big deal if you don’t need them. Looks great

Snow plows don't use those brackets. They're removed for the mount.

Smart man! I think it’s dollar-for-dollar the best thing you can do right off the bat, for looks anyway. Especially if you trim yours or get the Tremor part with FordPass points!

When I replace mine I'm going to go with the 2wd version, is a middle length. First addition will be wheathertech mud flaps though. Tired of all the crud and spray on the truck and the steps.

I don’t blame you! These Michelins seem to kick rocks like crazy too! I liked the 2WD valance as well, but for the direction I’m going with the truck, the Tremor suited me better!

I’m going with the 2 wheel drive valance it’s about an 1 1/2 “ larger then the tremor valance it’s like taking the middle road

Good to see it. Seems like this is something a lot of people do. I'm the dummy that's gonna pay like 4.5k for the tremor package haha. Ever think about doing ceramic coating or PPF (paint protection film) for the paint matched bumper?

I wouldn’t say that’s dumb! I was contemplating the Tremor package, but I decided the 8ft bed was more important to me. So now I think the direction from here is OEM+ long bed Tremor! And yes, definitely going to start pricing out PPF. Thankfully, Ford paint is a little tougher than Ram and Subaru, but I still think I need to do that to most of the front clip, at minimum.

I get it, for sure. Everything we had growing up was a long bed, so I don’t have too much trouble with them. I will say, this is the most nimble long bed I think I’ve ever driven.

When did you order your truck, and when did you take delivery? I ordered on 2/22/22, other than factory receiving the order I don't have a build date as of 4/25/22. Ordered a F 250 with a Lariat Ultimate package.

I covered the timeline in-depth in my 2k mile review, but all-in-all, it was around 3 months. Order Timeline: 12/6/21 - Ordered/Confirmed 12/16/21 - Scheduled for Production (2/7-2/13) 2/4/22 - Production Week Changed (2/14-2/20) 2/19/22 - Built 2/28/22 - Shipped/Delivered (I’m 3 hrs. from KTP)

What’s the part number for that valance? I’m trying to find on ford so I can use my ford pass points but finding it difficult to locate? Thanks

I put a link in the description, so it’ll take you right to it! You’ll have to actually go to the dealer or call the dealership and order to use your FordPass points, from what I understand. It’s pretty easy though!

Right now I’m getting settled in and taking care of the stuff that is going to help the truck last long-term. Next step will be suspension. I’ve got a few things planned, for sure!

I linked the part in the video description. That is directly from the Ford parts site. Some dealers have eBay accounts, and you might be able to find one cheaper there. If you want to order directly from your local dealer, you can use any FordPass points you have to get the price down.
