Ford misses the boat by not having an audible alert for their blind spot alert. Also they really should put the adaptive cruise control as an option on all their trim levels. If you already own a vehicle with these features you will never want to go back to not having them. Not a dab of lane keep assist. I don’t like playing tug of war with the steering wheel and the computer lol

It would be awesome to see a video of the adaptive cruise control and the extent it goes to But good work on this video it was awesome

One thing you forgot to mention was about rear traffic alert and how that alert works. Isn’t that part of the Co-pilot 360 package?

Thanks for the shout out. My wife's Bronco S has been a learning curve. The system needs clear center and side stripes to work also. When my Mav comes I will have it all figured out... I hope.

Ford should make the blind spot alert audible. My Hyundai did. Thanks for the video as I am very interested in the Maverick.

does the maverick retain these settings in memory if you turn the engine off? Or do you have to turn these systems on every time you turn the truck on?

Good save, except you don’t get the spare tire in the lux package unless it’s a Hybrid and at that it’s not really a “Full Size” but then neither is the “Full Size” spare tire that I added to my Wife’s XLT AWD With The Luxury Package (the “Full Size Spare” was $115.00 I think). Ford sort of misled us all on that. When I purchase a Full Size Spare I tend to expect that I can leave it on and just put the original fixed (or replaced) tire back under the truck. It’s not a problem, just a tad misleading from Ford, like the 4 Piece Bed Lights that are only 2 lights and 2 “Pieces” of wire (even though the Ford Accessories page picture showed 4 Bed Lights, I know Ford said those were the Bronco lights (after all the customer complaints) BUT if Ford can make 4 bed lights for the Bronco for 200 bucks, I’m pretty sure they can make them for the Maverick too.;)

Can you add a package to that maverick, XLT if he doesn’t have it

I'm looking to buy a new vehicle to replace my 2012 Chevy Sonic turbo. I was interested on the Mazda3 and the Corolla. Now I'm so infatuated with this little truck. Moreover, as probably many other, I didn't have a clue what the co-pilot add on included or if it was even worth the now $640 price tag . Thanks man!

You missed an important feature on the Co Pilot 360 on the XL. That feature is when you get this option on the XL you get power mirrors

I think it's absolutely worth the money.. Great saftey feature.. Plus I know the insurance company will give you discounts for the more safety system's.. When I bought my 2020 Fusion I had a long list of discounts compared to my old car.. So it's a Winner in my book..

Does the driver assist package allow trailer blind spot monitoring coverage for the size trailer you have?

Thanks for reposting, this time more accurately about Lane Keep. But you still missed 2 things so you need to read the manual and understand what you are reporting about before making money on our clicks: On XL, 360 adds power mirrors since the light in the mirrors need power. Power mirrors is a safety feature in itself because a driver can properly adjust the passenger mirror when driving alone. Cross Traffic Alert feature. Ford website says it uses "radar to help detect traffic behind your vehicle when you're slowly backing out of a parking lot or driveway." This worked for me in my Jeep when I could not see a car driving too fast through a parking lot. An accident would have been my fault so my ins would increase plus have to pay $500 deductible. If this happens once in my Mav on order, that alone pays for itself. The safety features and tech can reduce claims and injury far more than the $540 price.

I wonder if you got the XL or XLT with the Co-Pilot 360, if you could potentially add Adaptive Cruise Control or the Lane Centering (instead of the Lane Keep assist only) after the fact somehow buying a Lariat wheel or module? I was really thinking about getting an XL and just getting aftermarket rims and tires, but I really wish it had lane centering and ACC in the Co-Pilot package.

Does the cruise control slow down your speed when the car in front of you slows down?

Most sedan cars have more or the same ground clearance. These remind me of the El Camino, just you get something of a back seat and with a good bit less power than the El Camino/Ranchero.

Did I notice that the blind spot indicator in the mirror came on only when the vehicle was evident in the mirror? If you have to look in the mirror to see the blind spot indicator, you would see that a vehicle is present. What’s the point of having it?

What if you change lanes without the signal light on? Will it fight you to keep you on the lane?

Almost tempted to upgrade my xl to the lariat just to have lane center. But base xl with copilot is tooooo good of a DEAL. I'll be first in line to add an aftermarket cruise control.

They need to put a gas cap with key.

Nice video. I like the blindspot blinker but I dislike false alarms as I've seen in other vehicles. I like the included spare but not a fan of that lane keeping asist, as I sometimes have to dart in other lanes cause some people like to come to a rapid complete stop on the highway. Thought 360 included a 360 camera like on rav4 or ford transit. I think I'll go with an after market blindspot mirror. BTW at 7:41 I know that area well, near Springfield MA. Most you guys drive crzy fast, plus there's lots of construction there, and near 95 you have those UAVs that monitor your speed from the air (I was from upstate ny)

That 360 sounds like a lot of fussing around. One more thing to not work in the future.

Ford is Pathetic! Every single Toyota and Honda come standard with safety sense INCLUDING Adaptive Cruse control along with all the other safety stuff except Bsm which is optional on certain trims. Charging $500 for those lame options is sad. They just want some of the Employee incentives back lol.. Because if u r one who is buying a ford without incentives...well u better wake up!!
