In this video we are hanging out with BLOCKHEAD and the crew at the BLOCKHEAD garage grand opening weekend.
I said hey BLOCK, what do you think of the FTR VS the MT09? He said take it, you tell me. I WAS LIKE WOW!!!! So I did just that and man I can honestly they are WAYYYYYYYYY different from one another! This Indian is like a freight train with no brakes!!! The MT09 is like the Disney shuttle in compassion lol

I just sold my 2022 MT09SP and rebought a 2022 FTR Carbon. I had previously sold my 2019 FTR for the MT09 and almost immediately regretted it. The MT was fun but the FTR is so much more fun to ride. Looks much better and they’re not as common on the road. You can’t beat the torque on the FTR compared to the MT. It’s a hell of a bike. Also side note for your viewers, I’m fairly sure Blockhead got the custom Secret Sauce tune which completely unlocks the bike. It’s fun stock, it’s stupid insane with the tune.

Okayyyyy because that thing was a wanting wayyyyyyy more. I was just nervous lol I mean it’s BLOCKHEADS Moto lol 😂 who wouldn’t be??? It was very well built! Very nice Moto, an obvious you went back to it so must be bad ass!

@@yamayari8351 based on your reaction and listening as best as I could, I was certain it was tuned. 😆 Stock is fun too but yeah, comparing the two, it’s VERY noticeable and tons more fun which is what you experienced.

Very nice looking bike but can you justify the price ? Specially when you can get a mt09 sp for less

Absolutely, I would stay definitely with the MT09. But it’s a very nice bike.

I owned a 19 FTR for about 2 years. And then traded it for a 2022 MT09SP. I sold the MT after 6 months and went back to a new FTR. The FTR is expensive, no getting around it. But there’s something incredibly special about it that you will not find with the MT. FTR has that raw power that is missing on the MT. Stock, the FTR is an excellent bike. Want to fully unleash it? The Lloyds Secret Sauce tune will get you thinking you bought an entirely brand new bike that came without any limits. YamiYari didn’t say so in the video but I am fairly sure what y’all are watching is that FTR that is tuned with that flash. If you can spend the extra cash, go with the FTR. You will no regret it. Pay the extra and get the tune and hold on to your butt. I had a lot of fun on my MT09 but I have far more fun with the FTR.
