@@FordPickUPRedYes you can build boost, but is up to the driver not to mess up. Launching with 10 psi is useless if spin. I personally launching around 2-3 psi on this launch. I could have gone to like 5 but was testing the limit and going easy on it.
I was not playing games lol that Mustang owner was talking crazy 😂😂😂 His car is faster without a doubt but he needs a driver mod. The Mustang stock is 720 hp and he was tuned with bolt one so we at least pushing 800hp. My Kia just has an intakes, muffler delete and a piggy back tune JB4.
The .4xx RT from the GT 500 isn't terrible per test n tune standards, but the .08 RT from the Kia is an awesome light. Consistently cut those and you're winning some money.
I seen a few posts about what car to buy, and as a 2018 Stinger GT Limited ( GT2 ) owner since 2019, here's my nickels worth of free advice. Where you live should be a big influence. I live in Winnipeg Mb CA and the Stinger is the best of both worlds. Fun to drive in the summer and in the extreme winters here. I put on a set of studded Michelin's and the car is a tank. It's very hard for the price, to find anything near it. If I lived in a more not so shitty place, I'd go for the big V8 RWD cars, if I could drive it year round.
@@prvideos8229 mustang gt, singer gt, and Elantra n. I just want the car that’s the most fun to drive. I’ve only driven en ecoboost and even that was a blast.
@@ejhaneine3168From choices you listed get the KiA stinger GT AWD. That would be your best bet. It’s reliable, fun to drive, it’s practical and very mod friendly.
Out of those, The "Most fun" is hands down the N, yes it's slower than the both the GTs, but to me when I drove the Stinger it's damn quick, but feels more refined.. Whereas the N just is pure drivers car and smiles all round. Go drive them all, see what you like the most.. but out of the 3, even though it's the slower out of them.. the N is most fun for sure@@ejhaneine3168
This is cool - reminds me of my 2014 Taurus SHO with bolt-ons and a Gearhead Tune. I would beat Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, - it was so FUN to see them get mad or have a look of shock on their face! LOL! 🤣🤣🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Taking mine to the strip today with intakes, muffler delete and jb4 how can I get it to run 11s lol, I’d assume you have the brake snip , I have the brake switch but still won’t let me launch over 2600 rpm.
Yes I have brake snip. You’re doing something wrong. When using the brake snip you won’t use launch control that how you build boost off the line. The brake switch works the same when turned on. All it does it by passes the brake fuse. Make sure you look at you JB4 to make sure you are building boost. With a good launch you will hit 11’s. Good luck!
It all comes down to traction simple. The car with High HP and stock tires is not gonna be able to put the power down from a dig unless they throw some drag radials on it. The car with AWD will be able to put the power down from a dig. From a roll though that’s a whole different story
@@prvideos8229 that's faster than my 640whp GEN 6 ZL1 Camaro, lots of wheel spin from the xtra power but manages low 11's, 11.31 at 127. How the hell does a Stinger do that, as you say in the 10's?!?
@@djs3484 Because AWD trumps RWD on the launch. Watch this B9 S4 on E-85 make a run ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D__hJPlhrSs.html and the mod list to do that is pretty small. A tune, swap the intercooler for a larger one, and a high flow cat. Thats it.
@@djs3484 that 3.3tt has been proven to be pretty bullet proof with mods, I’d say its forged internals help with that. The solid launch control paired with AWD makes it a killer in the digs
@@djs3484 AWD will do that...he's trapping at 115, you're at 127. He's super efficient the first 60 feet, but your power is reeling him in hard on the top end.
@@Andrew-qh2ubafter the stinger, Albert Biermann went on to work on the new Hyundai N division. the elantra N is solid, wouldve got it if it wasnt for the stinger, he’s now working on the ioniq6 n and probably gonna sit back a bit after as a consultant
I am ford kid but man I admite that the kia gt its Just a beast,BUT the kia has a lot of advantage at the startup because has AWD, on a roll race im sure that the situation Will be diferent
Ford Mustang GT 500 Supercharged 5.2L V8 760hp $100k+ vrs a Kia Stinger GT Twin Turbo 3.3L V6 365hp $50K GT500 had to run a Korean sedan down at the end. Ford fanboys are fighting for their lives in the comments..LOL!
@@prvideos8229 And the Stinger has 1.7 less liters. Slept on vehicle. Incredibly quick for what it is and I would drive it over that crappy Mustang any day of the year.
This race was traction vs no traction and nothing else. With a trap speed of 118 mph vs 130 mph tells the real story. It shows how much more faster the GT500 is compared to the Kia, the All wheel drive did all the work here.
Car is not stock it has some bolt ons. Stinger stock with launching with boost I got 12.3. My fastest run has been 11.2, my goal is to break into the 10’s.
He did use launch control, he just was not aggressive because he did now want to lose control, last run before the one I recorded he almost lost control. It’s a combination of not very good driver, and having too much power and not being able to put the power down. In case you’re wondering his car is faster of course it’s 800+ horsepower, my stinger is about 400 hp.
Just an fyi my car is not “fully tuned” all I have is a JB4 piggyback. I am also not a full bolt on. If my car was fully tuned and full bolt on I would be in the high 10”s and I would have smoked that Mustang. Either way this is my grocery getter and winter car.
The mustang is stock. 760hp not 720. 130 in the quarter with a tailwind is not a full bolt on Gt500. He probably wasnt racing you regardless . When I go to the track to play I could care less about who's next to me or trying to cut a good light. Just there for times. Stock 500s will trap 131-133 without tailwind. Boltons and tune he'd be close to 138 without changing pullys.
I don’t agree with the 10.6 stock but could teach 10.9 or low 11’s. Traction is everything is quarter mile race. It accounting for DA and temperature. That what the average GT500 runs stock is low 11,s. The exceptions are not the average joe.
Stock 500s run 10.60 @ 135mph The baddest proven street car on 275s runs 6.20s @ 227 mph with a prepped oe Predator block, oe cast Gt350 heads and Coyote crank. Ford > whatever junk you're fanboying 😂
A JB4 piggyback tuner, deleted mufflers, and intakes is far from being a heavily modded Stinger. That's about $1000 spent and likely gets him in the 400hp - 415hp depending on what mapping and fuel mix he's using. They are popular mods because they add some performance, can be removed easily if you need warranty work, and give you a decent (but not amazing) performance boost. A heavily modded Stinger would have a Lap3 ECU/TCE, LAP3 WMI kit, intercooler, full exhaust replacement, ect and would be pushing 500HP and would have made that Mustang look bad, no thanks to the bad driver in it. One of the nice things about the 3.3tt Stingers is that it's very mod friendly.
@@poopinator22 It's a twin turbo out of the factory to be clear. I have the JB4 piggyback tuner and it's not an over the top performance gain. It ups the boost some but it's certainly not moving the car into another performance class.
