Real list: 1) Paulo 2) Chet 3) J Dub 4) Ivey 5) Mautherin 6) Kessler 7) Sharpe 8) Murray 9) Duren 10) Nembhard 11) Jabari (In my opinion, Jabari was too inefficient to get top 10. Nembhard on the per36 has better numbers and better efficiency, so I’m going with him at 10) 12) Sochan
@@Lackadaisicxl he’s averaging not even 10 points on average efficiency :/. Well I mean 40 from 3 is pretty impressive from a rookie, but the 66 from free throw and 43 from the field is kinda alright
@@darlingboyMMA plus he’s just massively inconsistent. Can’t tell if he’s a 3 that just can’t score consistently or a 4 who isn’t physical enough to grab rebounds consistently. Either way he’s just flat out inconsistent.
Ngl sochan be improving so much on his offence while still being defensivly solid he needs to be up here the stats from some of his game really show what he be doin
Idk man, faced a dude in fantasy this year that had him and no lie, both times i faced him 1 game got him a whopping 5 points and the other he got -0.5. His actual in game stats arent nothing crazy either. Id definitely say everyone picked above him is deserving
@@WhydTheyChangeOurNames really using fantasy basketball... i faced a dude that had kyrie, and kyrie got like 6 points each game. So what does that make kyrie? Bad?
50.9% true shooting is terrible and he was not a better defender then Kessler or Tari Eason the advanced numbers clearly show that. I like his upside but he’s definitely closer to 9-12 range then top 5 in a redraft based on what we know
i love ben mathurin was like second amongst rookies this season in scoring right under the paolo mind you he was also doing that coming off the bench but yet you have those guys over him mathurin is critically underrated
@@austinidkneededtomakeanewa6303he played more the ladder part of the season, was a starter and put up some impressive numbers for a rookie in those games! We’ll see but don’t sleep.. #buzzCity
@@gmoney7416 He led rookies in per 36 points for most on the season until his efficiency dropped off a big for the last two months. He was the consensus second best rookie until around February. Tf you mean average? Casual af
Walker Kessler was definitely great as a rookie but I don't know if he goes that high in a redraft just because his ceiling isn't as high as some of the other guys who are shot creators.
I like Sharpe but those games have to be taken with a grain of salt, the season was over for the Blazers and they were resting all their good players to secure a top pick, he was playing with Trendon Watford, Skylar Mays, Kevin Knox, Keon Johnson etc, he was putting those numbers up on a team full of g leaguers and bench warmers.
@@youngtasty1524 you’re wrong first of all most of their roster was young guys and g league guys hence why they didn’t make they playoffs. And anyways what’s your point? He was still doing it against nba level comp.
@@bakusbakul4327 yeah he’d probably not have scored nearly as many points or made as many 3s or played as good defense if he was able to get more shots, not get pulled if he is struggling, and played more than 29 minutes a game. It just wouldn’t make sense.
Well the point is it's a redraft, right? You're not just ranking rookie seasons. So Chet's potential is still there, and he'd probably still go 2 because of it
@@jaredrubino1889 he's easily better than like Jabari comparable stats but sochan was hurt after the asb but his first month is basically what jabari did for the whole year and his best month right before asb he was averaging 18 5 on 50/50/70 shooting
@@BPintheroom i’m not, i like him, but he’s not a top 10 player in the class, just because someone shows you he’s not better than any of the players listen, doesn’t make them a hater, that’s like me saying just say your a meatrider for bringing him up
@@jameznetzel4808 he didn‘t even have close to the opportunity the other guys had. When he had the ball in his hands like Paolo did the whole year he averaged 25+ PPG. He has more upside than any of these guys. Bet you he would go Top 3 in a redraft
@@ezypeazyy when he has the ball in his hands he averaged 19 ppg on 37% shooting, 28.5% from 3. he is athletic but he needs to work on shooting then we can talk about top 10
Benny Math was second in rookie scoring and he came off the bench. Had he started or even had a bigger role like Paolo maybe then people would put some respect on his name. Im sure playing in Indiana where nobody really cares or pays attention to us has something to do with it as well
J Dub has a higher floor and ceiling then both so no(better advanced and efficiency numbers by a lot and he has freakish measurements across the board at the combine giving him a very high ceiling)
Duren has to be much closer to top 5. If we are looking at just pure performance from year 1, I’d take Duren over guys like Ivey, Jabari, sharpe, Math. Dude was a legit double threat with incredible efficiency AND defense. And he’s like the youngest player in the league so way more time for him to realize his potential and develop more of an offensive game
please tell me yall forgot about jeremy sochan and didn't actually knowingly leave him out the top 10 anyone with a working brain would have sochan top 5
Jabari gonna surprise everyone, he’s gonna ball out his sophomore year. He didn’t exactly go to the best situation in Houston playing with a bunch of young guys and no vet as well as having a bad coach like Steven Silas.
