Did Nissan do a good job with the new 2022 Pathfinder?! I think it's a good competitor with the rest of the 3 rows. When I get one for a week, I'll get a night video and probably the likes/dislikes so stay tuned!
It looks like a new Sante Fe from up front. While the Sentra keeps getting better in the looks department, the Pathfinder keeps sliding downhill. Just my opinion; good review as always!
Nolan, you're really killin' it with your more recent reviews! Great editing, comprehensive material that's simply delivered, and of course, your trademark down-to-earth, no BS approach, make it worthwhile to watch. Keep up the good work!
This re-design is spot on, all around the rig. IF I have to find fault, I feel that they should've matched the new Frontier's horsepower. Otherwise, no CVT still makes it a winner. Thnx for the detailed review bruh...peace.
Good point on the Frontier's horsepower....I'm surprised they didn't give us that..bummer! Agree with the re-design too, much improved! Thanks again for stopping by!
They finally got the Pathfinder's at dealership now. Thank The Lord. I went in today to my local dealer with somebody getting their car fixed saw a Black SL sadly was sold wanted to look at it got a brochure. My salesman who have a close relationship with told us they had four arrived bit sold immediately everyone was desperately waiting as both of us. This will my next car if something happens to my 2015 Rogue.
I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 223,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.
Hey Nolan! Imagine if this vehicle was around when we were young kids? We would of thought this was a Futuristic LIMO from the future. I still remember our 1968 Ford Country Sedan Wagon. A/C was the best option on it and Mom and Dad never used it! You know, didn’t want to waste gas. Lol.
Thank you! I’m still going to do them, but I haven’t had a press car in a couple of months and the dealers aren’t open late enough when it’s dark (at least this time of year). I’m supposed to be getting some soon so hopefully I can get back to the night videos! 👍
Fine example of the lesson that competition benefits consumers. The new Pathfinder is a real competitor for the Telluride both in terms of features and MSRP. And if I ever encounter a need to transport a 4x8 sheet of plywood, I'll rush out and buy a Pathfinder. Never needed that particular feature in many years of driving but you never know. 😉
I love this new re-designed Pathfinder! I drove a Pathfinder since 2008 and just purchased a new car. I chose a Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum because it was the best choice for a third row SUV that came in a Hybrid. Bought it anyway because I liked everything else. But I settled because I did not like the body styling . I never cared for the recent Pathfinder that just looked like a Murano. So I didn't even look at those. I thought that was a poor idea of a re-design but this car is lovely. I miss my old Pathfinder from time to time. If this new Pathfinder came in a hybrid I would unload my brand new Platinum Highlander for this Pathfinder because of the body styling and I loved my old car!
The Atlas feels very spacious, comfortable, and practical...similar to this. The Pathfinder seems a little more premium, especially with the upper trim levels. They seem to drive very similar...I believe the Atlas was smoother with ride comfort but the Nissan handled better (mainly the Atlas felt very light and flimsy with the wheel, but some people like that). If space is a priority, I'd go Atlas, if this Pathfinder has enough space...I'd go with this over that. Definitely drive each one and see which one feels good!
Thank you soo much i was getting disappointed bc mine is the SL and it looks exactly like the Sv but it has different features. I have a question on mine i don’t have sunroof or captain seats and i just have drive mode my SL is different from others why is that? Thank you☺️
The New Nissan Pathfinder What’s new ? It offers the same features than Toyota, Honda for example, same transmission as Honda but it seems like it doesn’t offer fog lights unless it’s the SL and up trim , the accessories options and prices are really good tho
This is a nice SUV overall, not really a fan of the side mirrors or the steering wheel though, it looks like a streering wheel you'd buy for a gaming console. Nice review regardless, Nolan!
Damn those 18in rims look freaken small for some reason.....otherwise it looks very nice! Also Nissan should have given it more ground clearence, subarus come with 8.7inces where this pathfinder only has 7.1 inches so what the heck Nissan? This is supposed to be one of your legendary offroaders.....
If I can get ahold of one at night I will for sure. Now that it’s starting to get dark earlier it’s possible this dealer might let me take one before closing
Nissan. Official Car of the 420 credit score. Favored vehicle for drive by shootings. Easy entry and exit. Square cup holders fits most ammunition boxes.
Snow mode works for AWD as well as FWD. it typically reduces throttle sensitivity, and the transmission starts from a stop in 2nd gear. The best thing you can do for snow is to install winter tires, even on AWD vehicles!
Nissan did not do a good job the Pathfinder from the time I was growing up was always an off-road rugged vehicle now they’re trying to make it a mommy wagon men used to love driving the Pathfinder up until 2007 I think that’s the last time they had the real rear wheel drive putting the front wheel drive on this Petfinder is stupid this looks like a Marano OK They interior is nice don’t get me wrong but as far as engine towing capacity give me a 95 or 91 pathfinder any day over this right here
