i LOVE this spreadsheet, it's exactly what I want and nothing extraneous. Thanks so much for making this and sharing with everyone. Have a fantastic 2022!
I set down to research any advice on Reading tracker spreadsheet totally prepared to reinvent the wheel. This is perfect! Thank you for sharing it with folks!
You're very welcome! Everything I learnt was by using trackers created by others, so 100% play with this one and use what works/change was doesn't work for you. 😊
This is the best of the spreadsheets I've seen in my search for a new one this year, it has just about all of the stats/functions I want. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you Stef so MUCH! I plan to use this spreadsheet this year. Last year I tried to make so many changes and merge a few things but, then never finished and never used anything. This year I am using yours as is with a few minor changes in the drop downs. Thank you for your time to share and create this!
Wow, I was just searching for a 2022 spreadsheet and this came up on google. It's very nice that it's designed by someone who reads more romance (I'm mainly a romance reader so I really like the steam level and the subgenres included). This looks like a very detailed spreadsheet and it will most likely be the one I choose to use. Thanks for designing it!
Thanks for this! I was using a table in Google Docs but also to add books I want to read. One column I have is the Goodreads Rating. I need to switch to Google Sheets so I can sort and reorganize much easier.
Dang it, not me seeing this after I just filled out the spreadsheet from last year lol Agh, do I do it all over again. Also, thank you for bringing this to us, it has been amazing!
You're welcome! I think the key to sticking with a reading log/spreadsheet (from my own experience) is customising it for your purpose. I've used plenty fo different ones over the years and this one is an amalgamation of everything that has worked for me, without the stuff that doesn't. And even with this one, I've already adjusted things in my own copy of it to suit me best. 😊
I used the one that you made this year, it was so helpful. Definitely going to use it again for next year. I also love that its easy to use and its got a rainbow theme
Just went to add a bunch of new books to mine and it says it was deleted 😭 going to have to start over again, thank you for still having it available 😊
I just came across this and would LOVE to use it, it has so much I need. But I wish it had a place to track audio book lengths! I see page numbers, but almost half of my books are audio and I dont usually translate those to places. Tend to keep page tracking and hours listened separate so I can see how much of each I do at end of year. Perhaps next year you could consider adding that?
Hi Erika! Thanks for the suggestion. You could always add in a column for the audio length. As I said, I don't tend to track audiobooks (mostly because I don't use them often), but I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future. 😊
If you purchase a book on a discount that's the cost, versus the original list/RRP of the book. (Some people like to track savings, especially if they're borrowing books from the library where the list price would be $0)
The page count needs the dates to calculate. Depending on what change you've made you'll probably need to Google it to see if you can find a different way for it to calculate the page counts.
