I'm glad you highlight the crazy costs of new cars in South Africa 🇿🇦 Compared to salaries, cars are ridiculously expensive. VW charges so much for so little, I wonder if they laughing at their customers.
True, thats why muzi is winning from the rest, the rest just go with the script of reviewing a car and then they dont even critisice it they scared of manufacturers
VW and additional extras on things that come standard with other manufacturers will cost them one day. For now it's all about brand loyalty. Asia must come with a Polo alternative ku nyiwe once 🤣
They already did come with an alternative but people still prefer VW. The alternatives I'm talking about includes the Hyundai i20 and the Suzuki Baleno.
@@angrysocialjusticewarrior they should make a compact hatch that comes with all the bells and whistles like the Korean/Chinese. VW's biggest selling point and the most stupidest one is the pan sunroof. Imagine a compact havel with led, sunroof, decent sound and great fuel economy as standard .
This is the 1st honest review of the VW Taigo i have checked in SA. The rest of other local car reviewers have been buying face from VW in their reviews of Taigo. Thank you Muzi for honesty.
Mr Sambo, I've been following your content and I really enjoy it. Please add more content for bakkies, Mistubish, Amarok, Haval P Series, Ford, Mazda, Hilux and ISuzu, for construction people
😂😂 after this episode I won’t be buying this car. I stumbled across your content the other day and I’ve been hooked. I have learned so much, and I’m still learning. Thank you so much for this content.
If he changed his mind, it means he knows it's a ripoff. The issue isn't the car itself but its price compared to others in the same segment, which you clearly missed. You're exactly the type of person Muzi was talking about in the intro of this review.
I bought this car in R-Line trim and it feels the same as the Audi Q2. As a die hard VW fan I do think this car is worth it. It is expensive but is worth buying because it drives nice and smooth.
What you did there is compare a tomato to a strawberry. Both are fruits but we all universally agree that the strawberry is much better. Anyway hope you are enjoying your slow lemon. 😂 jokes bro. Heard the Q2 is being discontinued from 2023 I think hope this doesn’t eventually get the same treatment.
I Own this car in the R line version, and with all the bells and whistles, its worth the money, drive it for 5 years and trade it in you will get back alot more then you think, drive a Havaal or a Cherry for 5 years and try and trade it and see what you get for it, you cant compare VW to the china brands, compare apples to appels. i have owned saveral new VW's and its a brand that speaks and sells its self.
thank u for your input abaut this, as a women who looks at beuaty in a car and not the technical staff u really gv me an i dea of wat i need to look at but i still really love de taigo
Mr Sambo, I see you're reviewed most VW models, except for the Up! Not only is it cheaper than a Polo, but it's a notable city car that has been overlooked for a vast period of time. I'd appreciate it if you took some time and dive into this model from Volkswagen!
What I'm not a fan of with VW now is that the interior of a lot of their cars look the same, it doesn't matter if you look at the new polo R Line, Tiguin R Line, T-Roc R Line, and now even the Taigo. The only interior I've seen that looks different in the new VW Models is the new Golf 8 GTI and R
if everything went well with the lemon GTI purchased in March and you did not encounter any problems would you have settled the financing with your bank or would you still have kept the finance term, considering the growth of the channel and opportunity to earn multiple streams of income ? 2 the finance channel hasn't received any love in a while please upload there as well.. Dankie Morena
People who buy VW’s in 2022 seriously need to be admitted to psychiatric wards. This badge is ripping people off and has seriously become a joke of a brand! 500k for a 85kw car is madness! I can get a top of the range CX-3 hikari with all of these features standard, 7 speaker Bose sound system and a 110kw engine. Or if I want to really stand out get the CX-30 individual with 12 speaker Bose sound system with active road noise cancellation and 121kw and black rims (standard). But no because uDarkie thinks with their gluteus maximus they’ll buy this and replace their badge and lights every 2 months because it will be stolen. Thank you for sharing the word of God Muzi 😂👍🏾 you know your people and making questionable financial car decisions
Saw this car yesterday on the highway for the first time. Was waiting for your review, and you delivered 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Half a million for a 1 litre engine. Never !!!
@@thandonkosi1996 nah, something is wrong with the brain. I remember that in school a lot of people did not know how to understand numbers. Those same people are out here in the world again. The numbers don't add up. It's not preference everytime. Trust me.
It will be phase out soon, i don't see sales climbing, i wish we still had arteon , I know Sedans are getting real competion from SUVs but that thing had proper specs
Good evening Sir, am currently looking to buy a car through bank finance. I just need some advice on how to go about it before I proceed with my application, considering the hike on the repo rate. Your help would be highly appreciated 🙏
Mr Sambo could you please on your next video please comparison of the entery level car vs your high spec car in like your monthly cost what you do at the end of every vidoe 🙏
For the POLO R-Line I don't understand why people buy it... the cost over a base polo Is crazy. I saw a new Rline go for 500k on autotrader. That's GTi money. The GTI makes sense because you paying for performance but that 1L with fake exhausts is just not worth half a mill in my opinion. I payed 350k for a Golf 7.5 R line 3 years ago, atleast it was a 1.4L TSI Golf , which was an obvious quality increase from any polo .Then i traded it in for my current GTi I'm tierd of the way all German manufacturers get us with these optional extras though. 11k pm for a 85kw Taigo. Imagine that 😳 not worth it.
Ford won't bring the latest Focus ST. one of the reasons is that, we still have the dirtiest petrols. It requires 98 unleaded which is readily available in Europe
I mean, I like this car, but it's not worth it brand new to me. Maybe I'd find a slightly used or a demo with under a year old or so. Hopefully depreciates a bit before I'd be willing to buy
