As always stellar review. I like the 8 speed transmission. I love extra wide arm rest in the rear. But that's where it ends for me. Definitely under powered. I'm always afraid of repair cost on anything German made. If the Honda had a real gear box that would be my pick. Next thing you know someone will try and sell us a 3 cylinder with a CVT. Oh wait..

Great point and I agree power would be a plus, service is higher on VW compared to Honda /Toyota, great overall vehicle but it’s slow unfortunately 👍🏻

I test drove this and was interested in it. But reading reviews from actual owners, there seem to be a lot of reliability issues and VW had to do a stop sale on the Taos for a while. So I decided to pass on it for now.
