I saw this was "sponsored" in the small letterbox link to open the video, but didn't see this written anywhere else, and it wasn't made clear enough in my opinion. I'm not sure having it titled as a "review" when it's sponsored content is appropriate either.
No, not all the changes are improvements. The new larger screen is not well integrated and that support just looks ugly. Loss of climate control buttons is a negative and laser headlights on previous model are fantastic. The price reduction (not mentioned) for the 340i is a bonus though and Mercedes don't have a 6 cylinder model to compete. This almost makes the 340i and not the popular 330i the one to buy.
Probably the best car in its class. Power is amazing in a well refined sophisticated package. I don’t think any of the competition have anything better. Mercedes is underpowered compared to the M340i, the Audi is dated and no where near as powerful and the Tesla is just plain boring. The BMW brings a already proven formula with some changes that make an amazing car that little bit better, and Matt Watson from CARWOW launched the M340i in 3.8Secs. Knowing my G80 M3 Competition is doing 3.5secs from zero to 100km/h. All I can say, WOW!
i love the diesel engines more. 320d , 330d and 340d... more efficient than petrole engines. powerful, quiet, efficient and fast. i drive the 320d touring ... for all days.
The 3 Series Touring range for 2023 will include the 330i (available now) and later in the year, will be joined by the M3 Touring, but the M340i in-between isn't expected to join the Australian line-up.
There is nothing good about the elimination of the shift knob! Not functionally better and where do you rest your right hand? Simply ridiculous. If you’re going to do a car review, be objective
LCI has a few drawbacks and about $10K more than pre LCI. M340i is a better car in comparision with 330i, but hugh waste for daily use. Best buy as of Feb 2023 is to find a demo of 2022 330i touring with 5AU
The cabin’s graphic screen looks terrible, as if somebody sent a rectangle design to China and asked for a TV that could be stuck on the front of the dash. Why don’t top line car designers put more effort into marrying these multi- media screens into the contours of the whole dash, rather than simply adding them in as an after thought, like a glued on ipad?!! The previous model was much better. This would stop me buying this new model. 🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨🇳🇿
