Jetour is a fast-expanding SUV brand under Chery Auto. The brand currently sells nine different SUVs, with petrol, PHEV, and EV power trains. The Dasheng is the first of a new line of Jetour cars, specifically aimed at a younger generations of car buyers
To attract those youngsters, the Jetour Dasheng features a more progressive design than the rest of the Jetour lineup, with sharply cut lines and sporty touches, like the roof spoiler and the diffuser-style bumper. It also has pop-out door handles and large 20 inch alloy wheels.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Dasheng are 4590/1900/1685mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2720mm.
In terms of power, Dasheng to provide four power options, including 1.5T+6MT/6DCT, 1.6T+7CDT and 1.5T plug-in hybrid+3DHT. Among them, the 1.6T engine has a maximum power of 197 horsepower and a peak torque of 290 Nm. The 1.5T plug-in hybrid system is matched with dual motors, with a power of 326 horsepower, a system torque of 565 Nm, and a pure electric cruising range of 100km. As for the PHEV version, the official said that the PHEV power system can drive as low as 1L per 100 kilometers under the WLTC operating condition, and can drive for 1,000 kilometers on a full charge.
