Wilson Cushion Grip I put it on an old Head iX6 and felt like Thor out there. We are in for 2 or 3 hot summers from El Nino so will be struggling with my sweaty palms. I demoed a Technibre T Fight 315 with 98 sq in , a 2022 Yonex Ezone 100 and and a Wilson Shift 300L with 99 sq in head. I'm gravitating to a 98 sq in head b/c of plow through, but also that larger sweetspot and spin potential in Yonex, but Technifiber lauch angle, plow through and accuracy was notably tasty. Wilson Shift 300L are interesting racquets. Technifiber plow through came at a price. Shoulder was flaring up on Techniber TFight and Shift just couldn't absorb power but Ezone buttery smooth. VCore 98 yet to be tested. Please do a string test for me I think you'll have a blast with it. Grapplesnake Alpha, if not mistaken superior newer string to Grapplesnake Sniper. I could not believe power on Head iX6. From a 20 year old dinosaur stick it really took me off guard. Power without arm issues, the Wilson Cushion Grip was icing on the cake. It has a small diameter cord buried in the grip which is practically impossible to slip in your hand. Highly recommended for hard hitting. I wasn't overly gone on Wilson Shift you had to hit very cleanly to get the power dialed in. Frankly for a racquet designed to better the Clash I wasn't all that impressed with power. Spin yes, power so-so, maybe the Shift 315 would yield better results. What's your all time fav doubles stick these days? 👋🇨🇦🍻

Great review. I appreciate the time you put into your videos. Regarding the Gravity Pro - if you string the mains with natural gut (55 to 60 lbs) and use a smooth round poly in the crosses 5 to 7 lbs less than your mains tension, you will get a lot more pop and spin, without diminished control. That is an expensive proposition to commit to a natural gut setup, but the Gravity Pro really comes alive, IMO.

@@ROSEMARY-gl7wx Sorry for the delay - I wanted to get a good hitting session in before commenting. IMO, the launch angle is similar with my string setup and that of a full bed of poly. That said, there are so many other factors involved that launch angle for me, may not translate into the same for you. For example, I'm an athletic male standing 6'3. My grip is a touch past semi-western towards western (but definitely is not full western). My setup allows me to take full cracks at the ball, which suits my game style, and still maintain control.

This! I use the MP with this setup and helps with power and spin. Control is great. Beautiful racquet and advanced quickly after buying it. Use some inexpensive Klip natural gut along with poly tour fire or even pro and good to go!

I am thinking about testing the MP. I tried both the pro and tour already. In terms of weight, I think I would like to add some weight to the MP. My current rackets weigh 305 grams, so I would like to get the MP somewhere close to that as well. But where would you add the weight on the MP?

I would probably add an equal amount at the 3 and 9 position and some weight under the butt cap so you don't change the balance point. If you don't mind the extra swing weight, you could add it only to the head and throat instead.

Please help. I'm about to order this racket but I've seen some videos saying that it's a heavy racket. I am using right now the head TIS6 which is super light is this gonna be way too heavy? The reason I wanted to get this is because of the new technology And because the beam is only 20 mm. The one on the TIS6 is way too thick and gets in the way of my backhand slices. Should I still order it? Is there anything I can do about the heaviness maybe give a little weight towards the back? Or is there a different racket similar to this one that is lighter? Thanx so much!!!

I don't know how heavy the TIS6 is but the new Gravity isn't too heavy. You can open up the buttcap and put some tungsten putty there to make it more head light but you won't make the racket lighter overall. You're just shifting the balance point. It would probably be better to go with a racket with a lighter static weight and customize from there. If you really want the 20mm beam, the Prince Phantom 100X 290g could be another option. As always, I recommend you demo the rackets before committing to a purchase. I hope this helps
