Leased a 2023 platinum 4cyl Turbo has excellent power because there’s more torque, and I came from a V-8 Lexus. Love this car the platinum trim is more luxurious than a. Lexus!!

Hey Jeff- The older Highlander’s had a more leg room by an inch or two. Not a big deal for most people but I’m 6-5 and it’s an issue for me. Can you please tell me how this newer model is for tall folks? Thanks in advance for any input. Would love to get a platinum version.

Another excellent review, thanks. I own a 2017 RAV4 hybrid. I’m debating on upgrading to a 2023 Highlander hybrid. I really wish Toyota would have come out with a plug in hybrid for the 2023 Highlander. I might wait and give them another year. 🤔

Im going to trade my 2021 xle in a few months and thats on the advice of my dealer bc there will be better deals on them around Presidents Day so Im going to trade then. Nice vid and love it.

Thank you EPA for ruining Toyota gas options. I guess customers might better of going for the Highlander Hybrid.

That engine is capable of a lot more power when combined with hybrid. It just doesn't sound as smooth as the V6.

Took the new RX 350 for a test drive and it’s as good as my X3. Hopefully the Highlander Limited is close to it drive wise as the specs are pretty much the same for 10k less. Highlander is 1.5” longer, Lexus has a better warranty by a year.

My 2014 Limited with the V6 sounds much quieter and better when accelerating. Huge letdown Toyota switching to a turbo.

Regular or premium fuel?

Why would they put the volume knob far away from the driver on the passenger side of the screen? On almost every other Toyota it is on the drivers side of the stereo. Smaller screen Highlanders have it on the driver side. Odd ergonomic choice for something you use a lot.

I’m a little disappointed you weren’t more straightforward with your viewers regarding your statement about the “options from the regional port, if you want them.” After all, they’re not really options, are they Jeff? They are no different than bloatware, these “options” added by the damnable Southeast Toyota Distributors, designed to line its pockets even more so than they are already. Is it any wonder Toyota is expecting the average automobile transaction to amount to more than $50,000.00 with shameful business practices such as this?I’d suggest that Southeast Toyota Distributors and their associated dealers be ashamed of themselves for forcing unnecessary and unwanted “options”upon their customers, but that would probably necessitate the presence of a conscience within them beforehand. How about a little more upfront honesty when it comes to these so-called options next time? Pr am I mistaken and a customer isn’t at all required to purchase these options? The fact that you referred to them as options would make the purchase of them, in fact, optional, correct?

They should have made all Highlanders hybrids, like they did the Sienna .

Toyota literally just made the pilot telluride palisade that much more of a no brainer choice

Those turbos will be replaced every 120K, so more money for Toyota. 3.5 V6 lasted 400K without any problems.

Will not buy at the end of the day it’s still a four-cylinder seven people in car air-conditioning running Toyota should’ve stuck with the six cylinder beautiful engine
