Some tips & tricks in the infotainment for the Honda Civic Type R FL5 Check out my Instagram: turbo.tin?igshi... #fl5 #civictyper #typer #hondacivic #hondacivictyper
Hi guys! I am French and i want to thank his man for this video. I am a new (and happy)owner of an FL5 Civic Type R and want to thank you for helping me to discover those « hidden » features. I was a owner during 18 years of a Subaru Impreza WRX and I can tell you the Honda Civic Type R is far much better… even if the bad French government put on it a stupid malus tax of (please breathe a little before reading ..) of 12.000 (which is certainly made to save polar bears). The Honda is handsome and just fabulous, buy it right now if you can.
Congratulations 🎊 👏. All your tips I knew before and windows tricks from my 2009 Ridgeline truck and all our Honda/Acura products since. But to add to that feature...use key 🔑 in fob in driver door to bring up from open or down like fob and use on my 2023 Integra, 2020 2.0T Accord, 2020 2.0T Acura RDX, 2009 and 2018 Ridgeline trucks, 2022 mdx 2016 civic. My issue with my 2023 Integra Elite a spec Canada 🇨🇦 version MT is not trunk release button and fob only unlock but not open like my 2020 2.0T Accord or mdx or rdx
helpful video! good 👍. In Italy unfortunately for lane warn setup, we don't have the "warning only"... but only: early-normal-delayed. every time I have to disengage the shaking steering via the controls button and the cluster, on the adas check...😔
One thing i learned from my girls vw that the fl5 does is you tap the driver side door handle(little paint matches lines) & it will lock your car. As well as the obvious put your hand between the handle and door & it will unlock.
@@turbo_tin that’s odd. Definitely works for me on my fl5. Also works the same on a 2014 civic, as well as a 2011 and 2019 jazz (fit). I just looked in the manual, and it says: “To close: Press the lock button, and then within 10 seconds, press it again and hold it.”
Do you have any knowledge on changing the current gauge display on the comfort and sport mode? Mine is different from what I saw in your video. My gauge display is not the round type.
There is a rear jacking point hidden under the driver's side rear plastic diffuser panel, there is a vid to show exactly where. Still need to see if there is a safe front wheels jacking point. Otherwise the regular jack ridges along the sides
@@turbo_tin From the owner's manual: ■Unlocking the doors and hatch Press the unlock button. Once: > Some exterior lights flash twice, and the driver's door and fuel fill door unlock. Twice: > The remaining doors and hatch unlock.
Having all the doors unlock with the handle is a horrible idea. You generally only want your door to unlock so nobody can just get in on the other side.
Good point! It's definitely a concern if you're in a sketchy area. I'm very privileged to live and work in very low risk areas. I did this mainly for convenience of my passengers when I have them. Thank you for watching!
