Lucky that innertube didn't blow out. I will never go back to tubes just for that safety factor, even though I do like the classic look of spokes. Hope your bike gets all the TLC it needs, it is sweet looking.
Bro I hope you can fix that problem with your engine very soon and otherwise i just wanted to let you know that you have an awesome looking beautiful bike there best regards from Germany!
Tighten the header bolts on the exhaust. I have the same bike (21) I changed my exhaust, was shocked that the header bolts were loose as. Literally could undo them with my hands!
Definitely adjust that clutch first, it sounds like it's way out. The manual should tell you what the correct clutch free play should be. That also could be what you're hearing when you're riding down the road. Indian also has a good video on how to do this. Search "Indian Chief Clutch Lever Maintenance and Adjustment (2022 and newer) - Indian Motorcycle" on RU-vid. Another thing you could check would be throttle body tubes. Maybe you have a spilt on an air leak coming from there? Hope you get it sorted!
Turned out to be the throttle body gasket. It earn torn during original build and Indian had seen it a few times before. Took 2 weeks to get the gasket shipped in but noise is now gone.
Hey - you know - you should loose the F bombs you would sound like a much smarter guy when talking, try it … and 😊 Clutches need adjustment from factory my 2023 Chieftain clutch was a mess when I got it needed adjustment
