Honestly, this is the only great vehicle Kia makes and the brand actually puts effort into making it amazing, instead of the rest of the boring lineup the company usually has. The Stinger will be a future collectible, regardless of what anyone thinks, it will reach that status once more people realize how awesome of a vehicle it is from a brand that isn't good at all.

@@preciadoalex123I agree, once they made that decision to mark it up higher it was over for the Stinger then. Only reason to do that is if they added more horsepower and or a special edition that actually looks unique from the other trim levels.

This is a cool car but it will never reach collector status. Too many better sports sedans out there that also won't reach collector status.

By the way, for everyone with a Kia Stinger (I know you're watching this) I highly recommend buying the Scorpion Special Edition wing and adding it. They cost $300 and replacing it is very simple.

It's a shame these weren't more popular. The Korean Charger/A7 was a good car. Kia showed that it can do more than make cheap boring commuter cars. These are popular at my office. One of my coworkers just bought a used one. He claims he's not a car guy but he traded a Mazdaspeed 3 for one of the GT trims and those aren't cars you buy if you're not a car guy. I even considered buying one but I would have wanted to go for a loaded GT trim.

I've had my 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 for about 3 years now and it's been the best car I've owned. Massive upgrade over my previous 2017 Audi S5

No way, it's easily the size of a E39 M5 at least. The Stinger is a big car! The Genesis coupe would be more E46 coupe sized.

I have this exact edition & color! LUV IT! its my second Stinger! I previously owned a 2018 GT1 until i ran into the special edition. No regrets! Still a head turning car & get asked all the time what kind of car it is.

@@abbiedeloof8507 Not exactly. The Stinger has a longer wheelbase and longer length, as well as the 5-door liftback body style. So it's a more spacious car inside.

Thanks for the video. It reminds me how much I enjoyed my old Stinger GT2 AWD. I believe Genesis’ G70 was the reason the Stinger ended production too soon. In their launch the G70 and Stinger used the same powertrains. Honestly, Genesis should have enhanced and placed the Stinger under its “G” moniker, to directly compete with Audi’s A5/S5 Sportback, and BMW’s 4 Series Gran Coupe.

I've always heard about these cars having engine issues, but to me it seems like the mechanic(s) your friend took them to didn't know what they were doing with the engine replacement.

I've never heard of anyone having that issue, the Lambda 2 V6 is one of the most reliable motors currently being made.

@@CB12345the 3.3tt are pretty reliable there’s been plenty over 100k miles with no issues and some already at 200k miles with no issues I’m basic bolt ons and a lap 3 tune making around 450whp and it has been the most reliable car I’ve owned and I’m at 122k miles and all I have done is oil changes and spark plug changes I have a 2018 stinger gt awd . The 2.0t stingers on the other hand tend to have plenty of issues Kia just doesn’t make reliable 2.0t motors

This would be perfect if they gave it a manual. Its still incredible, like a 9/10 for me. and If I ever have the money, I would probably buy one. Either that or the lexus is500.

The Kia Stinger has a 9.5/10 reliability rating, and the motors are well proven to hit 200,000 miles with no issues. Sounds like your ego is threatened by a Kia.
