@@aidensnow5017 Yep that was the problem. And it´s nice to have a new Z even tho the money was scarce. That´s the real reason what makes it so good to have a new Z. It was often a debate within Nissan wether to have a new Z or not.

What? Nissan came out with a 15 year old parts bin special which turned out to be the weakest overall performer in its class while Honda came out with a class leader.

@@joskjj3625 they don’t. They stay in their lane and produce the best in class of what they do. But even their FWD flagship car with 100 less hp is faster around a track than this Z.. On the other hand, Nissan produces the worst in class of what they do. And this is coming from a guy who owned a 370z and a GTR, I’ve also had a maxima as a daily.. I had a deposit on the new Z as well which I decided to drop after I drove it.

They have the proto spec at my local dealership, however, the markup is 25k. I asked if there is a markup for the non-proto spec and the salesman said yes non-proto will have 20k markup lol.

Because theyre being bias, the supra is a tad 2 tenths quicker in a drag race, reason why 1 it makes more than the 382hp advertised it actually makes around 406hp with over 400ft lbs of torque has been dynoed, and has better tyres an oh well we know it weighs less but we all knew that, but where not counting weight here as we all know no vehicle weighs the same and some do better than others in weight savings an some purposely build heavier for better overall daily drivers or GT cars which the case with the Z the Supra better suited for track. Back to motor the Z dynoed at 400hp in the auto but the manual actually only made 374hp. Bear in mind Nissan cars always require high octane or premium fuel to make their full power thats a given. And Hagerty for the drag race of which you will see the Supra an mustang mach 1 achieve a 12.1s quarter mile an the Z a 12.3s time as per Hagerty they believe the Zs biggest issue is traction off the line because of the potenzas it comes with as with spunned all the way thru 2nd gear, but with better tyres they believe the Z would have kept up with the pack. There are videos of a stock Z with better tyres running 11.9s at the drag strip.

@@KirkKreifels Yeah and it cost less than the 400Z and is faster in a straight line and around the track then a 400Z. That is one thing, Nissan does not get right. They are no longer the best bang for the buck. With the 5.0 mustang and 5.0 Camero, you get 450 HP and 410 tq. I 100% wish Nissan would have made it 450 HP along with 400 tq. It would be one of the best sellers.
