I never could get comfortable in my levitate but I shot the Mach 34 the other day and damn I'm impressed! This is one I'd like to know your opinion on fully kitted out.
I thought you put the bow in the press. Just a little to take tension off. Don't touch the screw and pop the shims in and out? I thought thats how PJ from Lancaster archery showed
I’d figure you would need a press to move the shims because the cables are off set to the right (on a right handlers bow) which would pull the cams that direction while under pressure
According to PSE you should use a press to take some tension off the limbs to relax them prior to removing the shims. And the measurement of the shims needs to be a total of like .220 when you add the two shims together. Sizes are marked on each shim, so as long as the two shims together give you that .220 measurement then they will work. If you want to see a proper review and demonstration of this bow and the shims actually being changed in this system go over to Lancaster Archery Supply’s RU-vid channel and they have a great video showing in-depth everything on this.
I don't understand how the Evl 34 had a "relatively aggressive" draw cycle and the Mach 34 with same cam is "Super butter easy". Makes internet opinions difficult. Still enjoy the content.
@@dylankaylor842 they have already told dealers what they are coming out with. Elite is still in the works of releasing a carbon bow this year even after their already 2023 launch and bowtech will have a flagship carbon Bow to compete with hoyt and pse.
Mister MFJJ , im here linked from Elk Shape! Love your channel been helping me a lot , i aint from USA , where i live there is no pro shops , so you peopl help a lot simple folks like me!! many thanks! Get a decent mic Sir
I've seen multiple reviews (like this one) on this bow suggesting the shims can be re-positioned without a bow press, but on the PSE website their video indicates the bow needs to be pressed in order to re-position the shims. Can the shims be safely re-positioned without a bow press?!
Love your reviews, you do more than most on RU-vid. Only question I have is, do you think your chrono may be a little off? I’ve watched a couple others and they were a little closer to ibo than you on this bow. But anyways, thanks for the hard work you put in on here for us viewers.
I have a special ordered 50 pound omen. 51 lbs, 30.5" draw shooting 435 grain arrows at 292 fps. It's my go to hunting bow. Coming from a mathews traverse, it's shooting within 3 fps of the mathews at 64 pounds.
@@joshkeller84 yeah I just bought mine about two weeks ago and I see nothing but positives pretty smooth for a speed bow shooting 301 fps with a 485 grain arrow with 31” draw @70#
Yeah, it’s faster because it has a 1 and 1/4” less brace height. That means less forgiving. I’m a bowhunter. Forgiveness and accuracy over speed. I owned the Remedy and the Enkore. I sold them both in favor of the Mach 1. I have this bow on order. Super smooth draw cycle, super light, plenty fast. I’ll probably buy the new Prime when that drops. There is no best, only personal preference. The specs on the Omnia are dogshit in my opinion.
I’ll take the American made carbon. I’ll never consider a Hoyt until they get rid of that ultra gay support bar behind the grip. Dumb looking and unnecessary.
RX7 Ultra by a mile. the Hoyt grip is better, Hoyt build quality is better, it is completely dead in the hand compared to the PSE. I shot them back to back.
