Now that we have our blocks made, we are ready to start quilting! Remember, each month, we will quilt one block and then join them together after they are quilted. This month we are working on quilting pebbles.

This month we will work on layering our quilt block and go through the quilting plan and designs as we stitch it together. I'll show you how to quilt each motif and also how to move around the block to complete everything with minimal back tracking.

I am so excited to get started! I have been quilting for 6 yrs. I love it! But, I have not mastered, or even come close to a reasonable free motion quilt savvy. It is truly a challenge!😂 But, I recently found y'alls RU-vid tutorials. I am so excited!! I am going to make a 2 color quilt and quilt along with you. I do straight line quilting on all my quilts. Thank you both so much for you time, talent and enthusiasm.

I am just starting the quilting.. Do you have a link or blog post that discusses the thread weight, needle size, thread colour that I can refer back to? Also, when you mention 'opportunities to practice', do you mean on scrap fabric, then on this block, or just go for it on the block itself? Thank-you for the great pattern!

I don't have a blog post specifically for this quilt along that talks about thread, but we have done one in the past. For this quilt, I'm using 50 wt So Fine thread and I tend to match my thread to the lighter fabrics in a quilt, so in this one, I'm using white to match the background.
