It’s so weird me and my mom were just taking bout this… I’m 35, she’s 58 -over the last couple decades I noticed these random voids in brick n mortar fashion, there was a time you could only find long shirts , or only boot cut jeans , or like only cropped jeans 😅
On the same note of "ugly" shoes... vintage boxing boots! Especially with the resurgence of capris/ cropped pants/ bloomers, it's cool to add that height to a regular sneaker to meet the hemline. Boxing boots are sick imo and so practical!!
Ooooh yess !!! I’m still trying to figure out the name of a puma sneaker I had in the early 2000s that was boxing shoe inspired , they were baby pink and white. They ended up being kinda popular at my school in different colors . I love boxing aesthetics, the silky shorts and giant stitched waistbands are super comfy

Urban outfitters prices are mad 😵💫 they available in my country for not so long and nobody buys it because they want to pretend like luxury brand when they selling plastic tops that you can get somewhere else cheaper

i love the asymmetric hem. i was helping my mom pick outfits for her vacation soon and se has this adorable orange floral shirt with a really nice asymmetric hem and cool sleeves. she's gonna look so stylish lol. id steal the shirt if i didn't hate the texture of the fabric

I miss long normal tops cause I feel like there were long tops that were too long and then they all just became crop tops but I was super little when they had just normal long tops in the 2000’s
So true! Pretty much the only long tops I have (besides t-shirts) are from my mom or thrifted haha - but I’m definitely seeing them more with smaller brands

Haha I loveeee square toe on most shoes, but idk why the square toe sneakers kind of scare me 😂 but I know what you mean about wearing a trend before, because when I was a kid I had this pair of dorky little heeled clogs 😂 but I adorrreed them!! And then when the little clogs and Ugg clogs became kind of trendy again sometime last year I think, I found this old greige pair on eBay and they’re my absolute faves to this day 🥰
I have some asymmetrical tops, more long or mid sleeve, and I started automatically wearing them more in the last year. Probably cause I “thrifted” some of them from my mom’s unused part of the wardrobe lol so if they’re coming back like when I was a kid I’d love that. I live in a kinda small city so you don’t see many trends or trendsetters going around, usually you get more of the uncanny girls group looking the exact same. I’ve been contemplating buying the diesel sneakers too. They’ve been showing up on my Depop for the past month and I’m so tempted. I wanna think about it for another month before I give in but ugh they are cute. And surprisingly affordable? There are Prada ones that are just like them but obviously more expensive so that’s a no for me. But some people are reselling the diesel ones for like $60-$80 and the pair I really want is only $28 and still in good shape. I haven’t bought them yet bc I just bought another pair of shoes (puma boxing sneakers that are unbelievably gorgeous; they remind me a lot of the diesel ones), so I’m trying not to spend more money 😭😭 I really want to 😳🤕🤭

Fast Fashion is not defined by the price Look up where and how they produce their stuff it’s also extremly unethical and bad for the environment. I study sustainable fashion and trust me every go to brand is definitely fast Fashion
Doesn't matter how long you've kept the pieces for, nor how expensive the clothes are. Fast fashion is about the speed at which a company put out new clothes and usually questionable ethics come along with this because to get that much inventory out you usually have to cut a lot of corners and produce a lot of waste. Urban Outfitters has several clothing cycles every year so it definitely is fast fashion, this isn't really up for debate :/
I don’t know if seasonal color analysis is Korean.. but it’s so much fun! It’s helped me a lot figure out which colors suit me and why and it makes your entire closet cohesive if you stick with it. 🤍
