I actually like it when you use the same pieces multiple times, especially when it’s because you love a piece and you are feeling really drawn to what it will add to the outfit. And even though I don’t have a lot of the same pieces as you, I do have pieces that I love and want to add to all the outfits, and it feels very real and relatable to see you do that too. And I am watching for inspo in a broad sense, in terms of how you think about crafting looks, more than just the specific pieces.

I found a very similar khaki bomber-esque jacket back in the fall. I'm plus size and it's a men's 3X so it's really oversized and comfortable. I think it was $12. I had no idea I could make actually cute outfits with it. 😂 I feel so cool now! I just got it because it fit that grampacore thing I was unintentionally achieving. But woop! I'm so happy I have it now! It stays quite chilly where I am in spring so I'll be wearing it often, I'm sure.

This Video is great. And I like that we can see, that you love this one jacket (how sustsinable woud it be to wear only one jacket ever) . I think its about your style and personality. And we dont need the exact same pieces. It inspires to do something different with what we already have or we start hunting for something and find something different but so beautiful or try a certain silhouette.

I think in seasonal outfit videos its nice to see as many different pieces/ variations as possible, but I would love to see 'staple piece' videos styling one or two pieces or types of pieces in different ways. In general, though, I agree with everyone else in the comments that repeating pieces is way more realistic!

Don’t mind the repeats at all. I tend to look at shapes and textures when I’m watching people put outfits together and not at the specific item shown so I appreciate seeing the silhouettes in difft combinations. It gives me ideas for new ways to wear pieces I have that are similar shapes. And honestly, you’re totes adorbes (and no, I’m not sorry that I still say that 😜) when you’re talking yourself into and out of a look so it’s just fun to watch the process. Cannot say enough how much I appreciate your approach to style. Having fun with clothes without all the rules …. A lot of styling content on youtube is formulaic and it’s just video after video of rules …. Which is helpful for training the eye and what not but after a while, you just wanna wear what you wanna wear and it’s inspiring to watch you be so free with it all. Also, having birthed a few humans, the pause as you looked at the camera and wondered aloud if your rib cage would ever go back to where it was made me laugh right out loud. I hear, ya. It’s kinda wild, hunh? 😅
