Just a quick comment. The glycol is very specific to the ALDE system, so just normal marine grade glycol won’t work and if you make that mistake you have to pump the entire system clean and the fill with the proper glycol. When we made that mistake, we were in Seattle about four hours from an ALDE factory. They pumped and refill our system in about an hour. At that time, the specific glycol was only available from ALDE direct. The fill line can be hard to see on the glycol reservoir so we marked it with a dark marker. As for the filter - we’ve had our 400 BDL since 2019 and I take the filter and wash it and/or vacuum it after each trip and it’s held up great. Perhaps they changed the filter material but for us a simple spray down or vacuum or compressed air has worked. The water pump switch is only necessary if you are using water from your fresh water tank. If you are at a camp site and have connected to the site water, you don’t need to activate the switch.
The videos are just meant to provide instructional guidance so you know how to maintain. Any trailer you get is going to require maintenance, that's all part of being a camper owner.
