2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD or Base or Standard Range Plus - Is Tesla for anyone who wants a REAL PURE electric car with no fancy interior but very focused driving experience.
Only after spending almost 2 days with Tesla Model 3 RWD I appreciated it's driving dynamics, very thrilling experience. This is like a Base Porsche 911 of EVs.

I am quite impressed with Model 3. While it doesn't look like a luxury car compare to other auto makers it has something that makes you want to be part of Tesla. It offers an experience and not just a car alone. I can imagine Tesla will work on making this experience even better with each new model.

Dude, you nailed this review (and part 2). I delivered teslas to customers homes all day every day for 6 months. This car is such a little sleeper. Glued to the road even in pouring rain. I always told customers there is nothing standard about the standard range model 3. Drive it for a day - you’ll like it. Drive it for a week you’ll love it and will become a tesla fan for life - thank you elon indeed. Also, the cheapest car in any legacy lineup is always a compromise. There is no compromise with the std range model 3.

Thanks for the feedback. Well yes it's funny to see that so many people are getting Tesla Model 3 because they want an EV, but in reality they are getting a driver's car. In the past you had to really get BMW for that and now people get Tesla that does just that. I am pretty sure delivering car is a fun job.

Ur welcome. Even in a parking lot, zipping around the outside of speed bumps is totally fun. The job was great. Funny thing is we would deliver them, then get in an uber to get back to the distribution center. Some people were surprised we weren’t delivering them on a truck. We delivered over 100 cars a day (each driver about 5 each), so that would be a lot of trucks lol.

great review and excellent commentary ... I recently drove the 2024 Tesla Model 3 (RWD version). For a while I was fixated on the AWD/Long-Range version until I discovered the benefits of the RWD's lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Also, the consensus opinion is that the driving range isn't an issue for long distance travel. The Model 3 was refined, rattle-free, and handled quite well ... this would be my first EV I'd purchase.

Thank you for the kind words and stopping by. Yep, model 3 is a true driver's car and within next few weeks I will be bringing one on the channel. Also curious to compare on the refinements they made with 2024 model. Just hoping driving engagement is still the same as previous gen Model 3. Overall Tesla Model 3 is one of not many cars that made EVs more fun for sure.

I bought one in February while waiting for an ioniq5 that won’t arrive until 2024, thinking that I would easily change it when the other one arrives. After only 3 months and after the first trip this weekend, I must say that I am addicted to Tesla and I don’t know what I’m going to do when the ioniq5 arrives. I like the drive, the simplicity of the updates and the trip planner.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear you are enjoying it. Driving experience in Model 3 is certainly something I liked a lot. It’s an easy car to live with. I am also curious about Ioniq 5. Will be also reviewing it on the channel as well as Model Y.

@@100miledrive we had several Hyundai cars, hence why we chose the ioniq5. But we ordered it January 27th 2022 and we still don’t have a delivery date yet. I read on the ioniq5 vlog that some owners have issues with their car, some others with the charging stations when they travel, some others have issues with the updates. Since I got the T3, I have done 3 updates that were flawless. The trip planner worked wonderfully and it prepared the battery before we get to the charging station. I was impressed at how easy the process was. I read on the ioniq5 Vlog that it’s far from being that easy to plan the trips and get the battery conditioned before getting to the charging station. All these things are making me double think my decision about the ioniq5. I will be curious to see the next videos you will do on these cars.

I test drove a '23 M3P it was amazing !!! The acceleration oh the acceleration 😂 I was not mentally prepared for what was about to happen. I stepped on the accelerator and I literally got nauseous for a sec !!! It was so freaking fast. Faster then anything I came across mustang, Corvette, Fisker etc. I fell in love with the car. I thought the 20in wheels were going to be harsh but I really didn't notice. The car was so planted on the pavement. When the Highland comes out I'm getting the M3P !!! Anticipation is killing me 😢😢

ha ha. Looks like you are ready for Model 3. By the way make sure to find someone with Tesla referral code. I just found out you can save $500 on a new car. And yes Model 3 Performance feels pretty fast. I will bring one soon to the channel. It's also how this power is delivered. With electric car torque is instant and that gives that nauseous feeling. ICE cars have a different feel even if they are similarly fast.

Nice that they put the regen setting back! We just had a testdrive and we were looking for this setting. When did you get it back? Is it Low/Normal as it was or did the change something? Like adaptive regen as an i4?
@100miledrive
@100miledrive Год назад
Interestingly enough the day I was reviewing this Model 3 it didn't have any setting to change regen. I searched all over the Internet and then found that the feature was disabled. However next day they released an update to bring regen adjustment back. I wish I had a chance to explore that. I am getting Model Y soon, will test it there. Make sure to subscribe if you didnt.

Thanks for the feedback. Mode 3 perfomance I test drove sometime in 2019 and while I liked acceleration and handling I didn’t like how kind of bumpy it was driving in the city, LA roads are pretty bumpy overall. Also sound insulation was not good. I do want to revisit it though, now since I started doing car reviews I cand spend more time with it, compare against the base versions and also their built quality including sound insulation improved. So we’ll see might review it sometime soon

I test drove the BMW i4, the IONQi6 and the ID4.I think they are all great cars, but on pure value for the money you pay, Tesla has them all beat with the recent price drop. Not to mention the software and charging stations for road tripping. I enjoyed your video, you get right to the point and I related to your comments. I preferred the i4 40 the most of the three. Was brilliant to drive and very premium feeling…and a 5 door too. But the extra $15000 vs Tesla and Hyundai is hard to take, esp at >6% interest rates.

I made a big mistake, I took one of these for a test drive. DON'T do that unless you are prepared to buy one. I did. The only option on mine is the red paint. I hate those Aero wheel covers, but there are nice looking wheels beneath those covers, and Tesla sells some good looking hub caps. One change I'm making is I'm getting the wheels powder coated an almond color.

You ask for likes/subscribing before you even start the video off. That's not cool. Wait until the end of you videos before asking if people will do this. You have to earn this, it's not taken for granted. Otherwise, decent video and the RWD single motor version will sell well since it qualifies for good incentives, both in U.S. and Canada. Otherwise, really not much new you are showing. Driving dynamics, handling, etc, will be the same as they have been for past Model 3's. For 0-60, 5 seconds is plenty fast. These speeds are very overrated. For normal driving needs, all BEVs are very capable. I disagree on the suspension. Try sitting in the back for a ride and go over bumps. Chances are you may feel motion sick fast. Tesla has cheated out on Model 3/Y suspension and I wish they would soften them up to make them more comfortable. My opinion anyway. I changed out my Model 3 suspension to KW MPP Comfort kit, and made a world of difference. Still handles like on rails. Yes, if you rapid start and stop all the time, one will fell ill. There is so much power on BEVs. I hope in Part 2 you do range test, as that is the real important fact. The rest of the Model 3 is basically the same as it's been for most of the past couple of years.
