Thank you Faith for the comment. I just went through their profile now. They look to me as a Tertiary institution (correct me if I missed something) whilst the video focused on Private schools that have an intake of grade 000-matric.
Hello all. In answer to your question. I believe an investment in private education is worth it because career opportunities are more about the people you know and have in your network. In private education, you can make connections as a family (child and parents) that could help out the child in future careers or the family (parents) could make connections about possible business ventures. For example, the child is in the same class as the son of the family that owns a national newspaper and my child likes to write. An internship could come out of that relationship. furthermore, said family needs new premises for said national newspaper, if the family of the boy in private education had a commercial property portfolio, they could have a possible tenant to grown their business. I think private schools are more of a business investment carried out through social and educational institutions. This is economies of agglomeration. Is it fair? No! Is it the product of supply and demand? Yes!
Very well put Siyanda, thank you for the positive contribution 👌🏾 So what's your take on the the schools that are considered public but are also expensive... Do you think the same applies?
I know right, it's crazy... Having mingled with a family whose kids go to such schools, they just pay without a second thought. They believe it's the right thing to do🤷🏾♂️
