@@thebuzzmeade No worries! Ok so the lightrail runs straight between Minneapolis and St. Paul basically parallel to Hwy 94. In the "Safest neighborhoods in St. Paul" video I just posted, you'll actually find some more inside scoop on those neighborhoods along the lightrail in that area, and you can find crime stats on the city's police dept websites to see how you feel. That area will have the best proximity to all kinds of things in both main cities. The lightrail also goes straight south from Minneapolis to the Mall of America & Airport, so the Hiawatha or Richfield areas would be great for public transit as well. There is a commuter rail train that goes north also, however from what I've seen it's got very limited times outside of morning and afternoon work commuting, so I would probably not rely on that.

As for busses - the VAST majority of the metro is covered by Metro Transit's bus routes. You could pull up their actual routes and stops, but I don't think you'd have a problem in any of the main cities/suburbs within a pretty wide distance from Minne/St. Paul. Besides the normal bus stops on street corners which are ALL over, they've also got large Park & Rides in several spots that usually have direct/non-stop busses that go into Minnea/St. Paul downtowns for work commuters. Last - something unique to the Twin Cities is all of the skyways. If you're up for downtown life, there are a TON of skyways connecting many of the buildings, especially in Minneapolis. Those have grocery stores, restaurants and all kinds of stuff within walking distance to condos - all without ever going outside. So if Condo life is your jam, that could be a cool option too! Hope that helps!

Do you know anything about Waconia, MN? I've watch a bunch of these type of videos but no one really mentions there. I just happened upon learing about Waconia and it seemed like a really nice little town with lots to do but, like I previously mentioned, I can't find a whole lot on it. I am thinking of moving to MN, my family is origionally from Bloomington/Eden Praire before we moved to CO. I just am trying to find where I would like to go and was interested in Waconia. Would you be able to point me in a direction where I can find out more info about that town?

What is the best public school district? I am a bit confused after looking at nice homes online and seeing that some homes have schools that are rated 9,8 and 5 assigned to them, for example.

Edina isn't in the top 15!? Lots of great housing (Indian Hills, Rolling Green), shopping, great schools, easy commute to downtown... Growing up, you knew that your family had "made it" if you had a nice home in Edina.
