Man! Do i miss these boats! I can remember watching them at Seafair in Seattle when i was a kid. And the main Goodwill store in Seattle had a small museum in the back that had one on display. Everytime we went to Seattle, my parents/grandparents would stop at the Goodwill. I would immediately run to the back of the store to see that boat
@@douglasbrown7250 Are you kidding me!?! Do you happen to know what year they did away with the museum? Or did they remove the boat first? They also had a huge Grizzly bear taxidermy as well. What an amazingly small world that I would stumble upon you and the fact you now work on it. Thank you so much for responding. WOW
@@alexandersupertramp7353 The boat was removed for restoration around 1999-2000. Basically got it into running condition. It got a more substantial structural restoration about 6 years ago. The goodwill museum went away sometime in the early 2000s, but the boat left first.
