I think VW is trying to make sales in the new Polo by spiking price of the Vivo... indirectly making more financial sense to just go with the New Polo. Done!
This car should be around R180000 - R210000 if we being honest. R340 000 but you still dont have electric windows? Arm rest that hides the handbrake? Guys 😂😂 come on VW, COME ON!!!!!!!! Mirror adjusting button on your driver seat dololo? 😂 but you taking out 300K? 😭
The new Polo also has a 1L engine but with less power and has cloth seats. It does have adjustable mirrors, but most other things are the same with a few exceptions here and there. At this price point, its more powerful than other cars in this segment.
Bought a comfortline version of this VW Polo in 2010 for R180k. It came with cruise control, rear parking sensor, hill hold assist, electric windows back and front, electric adjustment to side mirrors. Lights in the back. 6 airbags as well. Naturally aspirated 1.4 litre engine. It had a 5 gear manual gearbox which was the best!!! Even to this day, it is the best gearbox I have used. Perfectly mated to the engine. I don’t think the 6 gears works well with the TSI engine but that’s my preference. I can’t believe you pay R340k for this model. 280 000 kms later and I ain’t giving up! Fuel economy is the best especially on long distances
Am impressed by your reviews compared to our RU-vidrs here in Kenya They usually do 6-7 years old car reviews Kudos bro I have watched 2023 car features, agonomics on you channel
I love the car review of the VW Polo Vivo GT. But i don't approve of the pricing, i find it costly. But nonetheless, loved it. I'd like to see a review of theToyota Corolla Prestige/Quest in manual transmission
this car is so nice I have a 2021 1.6 Polo Vivo facelift and it looks like the only difference is 4kw and the front lights so theres not much between my highline and this GT which makes me feel good ngl🤣
I chose the 2023 Polo Tsi 1.0 Standard because it has more features than the Polo GT. firstly it doesn't have a mirror control button and the back windows are manual on POLO GT.
Wow I thought that this Polo Vivo Gt would use the naturally aspirated 1.4L engine but gladly enough it didn't. Polo has come a long way shem. At first it was underestimated but now you have money if you own a Polo😂. I once had my friend's Polo for a weekend (1.2L tsi trendline) and I also experienced the symptoms of Polo syndrome😂. I also found myself driving with the window down for no reason at all😂. Also yes this car moves once it gets past the turbo lag. My friend's Polo has 66kw compared to this Vivo's 81kw but I can tell you now that it still goes like a beast. Though you are right by saying that the interior is starting to be dated. This review was great. Nice and refreshing review because I want to save up for a VW Polo. Just that I'm not a fan of thugs which this car attracts😭. Hope to see another review soon.
Don't you think hustling boyfriends will soon shift their attention to new polo's, especially given the fact that they soon will be in demand, not to mention the IQ headlights?
Salute MrHowMuch nice review as always but some of us are curious about how fast a car can go from 0 - 100 km/h so please can you include those details in the future and sometimes test it out to see if the manufacturers claims are as accurate as they say. But all in all thank you for local content sir, much appreciated.
I have the polo 6 sedan 2014. 1.4 trendline I have back electronic windows. Electric mirrors...the only different thing on this expensive 1..is the radio as mine atill that old onw. But has bloototh etc so am not complaining. Ai for this price i wouldn't uave gotten a polo.especialy because there kia rio....which i find to look way better than polos for me. Polo i like for reliability only. I am on 380k km and still drive fine without any major breakdown . And yeah..thanks for the fair review mr.. enjoyed the show.👍
Just a correction the lights and vision package (rain and dusk sensors) are std but the full LED headlights are not. Listed as an R11,650 option which is probably ex VAT
Best value for money car from VW, thats if you dont spend more than R320K for it.😂 We've had one since 2019(the pre-facelift) and its been amazing to this day. The power it delivers for its size is amazing with that 6-speed manual. As a starter or a daily you wont regret🤝
My father's 2015 corolla has electric windows and a hand brake that is not hidden in the armrest with just R180 000 polo must rethink their their decisions.
MrHowMuch, please improve our viewer experience, when it comes to prices also throw up some details about how much it'll cost when leased. Of course, that's if you can get your hands on that info, any dealership or anything you know about from the industry! I think the lease option must also be explored, not only on polo vivos but on most of the brands you review
