This vid was wildly entertaining. You still read a lot and enjoyed what you read which is all that matters. I gotta get on Jurassic Park and my own Red Rising reread to get into the sequel series!
It's good to see you back. A lot of people who take breaks from youtube are never heard from again. I actually reached most of my reading goals and read 100 books this year. But I won't brag because I don't want you to feel bad. 😁
I’m glad you still read and enjoyed my book after that many other skips, thank you very much Alex! It’s looks great on your shelf btw. Book 2 will be more sci-fi and less fantasy so I think that’s will be your jam 😉 The Red Rising saga will be my No.1 TBR this year. Can’t wait! 🙌
🥳🙆♂️Red Rising Reread 🙆♂️🥳 LOL at keeping your 2024 goals achievable. I’m only committing to continuing or completing more series. B-road and achievable too 🫣
This video has no right being this hilarious 🤣 The epic Red Rising reread has definitely been one of the highlights of my reading year as well, especially with all your guys' liveshows. I will patiently await the Light Bringer chat hahahah fingers crossed Liene gets her shit together soon lol. Hope 2024 is better for you, happy reading 🤩
I read many of Crichton's books but only got around to reading "Jurassic Park" last year. Really enjoyed it, and it does have much more than the movies. You might like his "Dragon Teeth" novel which I also read maybe two years ago. It's about dinosaur fossil hunters in the late 1800s. No live dinos chasing anyone, but still an interesting read.
Yeah, BG3 definitely devoured many hours of free time this year, and the Divinity board game from Larian also just arrived, which will consume a good deal more, I'm sure. I've been needing a lot more easy/comfort reads over the last few months, but have at least managed things like the Conquerors trilogy and The Hexologists. Also finishing up Lightbringer on audio, as well as continuing things like Discworld, Dresden Files, and Forgotten Realms.
@@alexnieves It's always such a great palette cleanser! I'm only thirteen in (publication-wise), but Mort, Reaper Man, and Small Gods are definitely up there.
Great to see you back Alex. I plan on reading Golden son through to light bringer next year. Btw, I thought I would tell you that I ended up not reading Empire of the Crap Storm and I actually put it in the recycle bin so it's now gone. Yay! My reading goals kind of went by the wayside last month and this month so I've just been mood reading Christmas books until the new year.
I exceeded my goals this year (like last year). The Obamas' books were favorites. Next year I don't know how it will be. I have a few things I want to explore (SF, fiction in Spanish and many other genres of books)
It's good to see a nee video of yours. I didn't like "I, robot" much, and about the inheritance cycle I think the last one is the best. I hope to see what you think about it.
Wait. Liene hasn't read Light Bringer yet?? How? 😂 She reads so much. I had a goal to read 100 books this year and I passed that easily (I listen to audiobooks all the time). I had hoped to start and complete Malazan, but only got through Deadhouse Gates... I think a big part of me failing at this was that the audiobooks aren't available through my library and I'm super slow at reading with my eyes so chunky books are hard for me to get through not on audio. That said I did get a kindle this year and have physically read a ton more this year than I have since high school.
Tolkien same goal, same did not read it🙈what is worse for us they just came out with a review and extra letters of Tolkien, but let’s focus on what you read and like 😃
Off subject because I saw that helmet in the back but why can’t the Cowboys play on the road? It’s infuriating to see them dominate at home & look like the Jets on the road😫 Thanks for the video 👍🏼
