Something that I’ve noticed about the Equinox in particular is that it has a very smooth ride like velvet and extremely low impact harshness much like the last Impala had.
The black trim that goes over the wheel wells helps prevent rust around those areas. Here in the north the wheel well edge is generally where rust starts and is the worst. The plastic trim prevents paint chips and helps keep ice melt from effecting those areas.
Thank you for sharing. Mine is an LS. A few less features but looks just about the same at a lower price. By the way, the ‘25 got rid of the 12V plug for front seat passengers.
Just bought my wife 2020 Equinox lt in red, beautiful vehicle, dealership added the full panoramic full glass retractable roof $ 2,500.00 added feature that no other lt we looked at had..at no additional cost to us..and with the 2 liter turbo 224 hp I believe..wife loves it with only 61,000 miles..
My wife tell the dealer all the "Why the hell doesn't a equinox come with fog lights standard"? All she wants is heated seats and fig lights we always have to get top package to get the fog lights. She still loved the open concept in her 05 equinox best.
Yeah that's a tough one then as you have to get the Premier for fog lights. Many vehicles don't come with fog lights standard anymore given the LED headlights offer much better output.
Its a good car. I owned 2. Sad part is the MPG is the same all the years.. Style really has not change much in years. Looking at the 2024 Honda CRV now because you get more room in the front and better MPG
Driver side space so tight, engine recommend use gtl base oil, otherwise you would more likely hear clicking sound on the winter startup. Transmission learning response so slow and so stupid. Engine also has heat control problem. Local mpg 16-19.
Nice car....was happy until the fuel pump recall. Now I have car I cant stand for laud and jerking engine...and mechanic cant find anything wrong with it and told me buy electric car instead cuz they are quite! Also it takes double gas now.
I'm purchasing a 23 Bronco WildTrak which is basically intended for a weekend pleasure vehicle, But I'm leasing one of these as my commute vehicle to and from work. I'm just worried going from a loaded 2020 Silverado LTZ (which I loved) with a 6.2 l to basically one of the plain Jane versions of the equinox; 24 equinox LT, because dealer says this is the best he could do for around 300 a month with 3,500 down (yikes!) It's pretty much bare bones. I hope I'm not sacrificing too much lol
Ehh....not my type of body style. Just doesn't look right in my eyes. Looks funky and just very odd. A lot of those features seems to have come from a 2nd gen traverse.
This Equinox is universally known as the least attractive compact SUV. They should have brought their new design to the table sooner as opposed to wasting yet another model year.
