Sounds like clearance went down vs Scapegoat as I've seen people fit 27.5x3.8/4 on a SS setup, My buddy was thinking about running an IGH paired with the 27.5 fat tires.
for 27.5 Id really consider running something like a velocity blunt instead of a full 80mm fat rim. Will give a bit more wiggle room for riding without rubbing if that will be the main wheels/tire
