at 2:27 is that a travel off of the triple threat or are you allowed hop out and burst out from a triple threat position because I have seen a lot of players do this but im just not sure if its a travel or not
Yea, that’s a tough one. The way he forward pivoted, I believe his plant foot moved, so legally it was a travel. Now, is it called often? I would say no. If his left foot (plant foot) stayed connected to the ground all the way through the spin, I believe it’s a legal move. So, I would teach people that move if I were training them, because it’s a good move to have out of the triple threat - but the difference between was it a travel and is it going to be a CALLED a travel is up for discussion.
