They should be. This whoops the taco in just about every objective measure. They just need to add sunroof, ventilated seats 60/40 rear bench and it's over. Even in this off road trim with all the goodies it still has more payload than the SR5 taco and can tow almost as much. That V6 sounds way better than the 4 banger in the taco.

This starts at $55k the Tacoma Trd Pro starts at $65k…… yeah not only do you get a twin turbo v6 but it’s 10k cheaper. Easy choice

Around 7.00, the onscreen 4wd control can only be used on the screen, then a few moments you showed the control to select the 4wd controls on the arm rest. Do they do the same function.

Just purchased a Ranger Raptor Hot Pepper Red yesterday! coming from Ford F150's and 250's but needed to downsize. i only paid 2k over MSRP and was willing to do that. I have never had a newer midsized truck but i have to say, it is a blast to drive. so easy to park as well, i do not need a field to park it lol so far (still early to tell) i would recommend it!

The amber lights are only used for legal reasons..not because they look cool. Ranger Raptor isnt wide enough to incorporate them.

The thing I don’t like about them is display screen and shifter, ugly look. Why heat vent outlets are verticals especially around the display.

The local dealers in MN that have a Raptor are marking them up by $10K! I saw one listing at $69,310!

If the Jeep Mojave had the 5.7 hemi it would be better then this. But it doesn’t. So this is cooler

I am just speculating, but if the law requires that you install marker lights at 80+”, then it would be illegal to have them on vehicles 80” and below (as it would defeat the purpose) which is why Ford did not include them on the ranger. Admittedly I could be wrong, but ike many, I think that the marker lights on the F150 Raptor look awesome so Ford either could not include them on the Ranger, or they made an aesthetic mistake.

Thry should be. I had a 24 trd pro on preorder, to trade in my 19 trd pro. When the allocation got here, they told me 65k. I canceled immediatelly, told them to go fuck themselves, and went straight to ford. Now i have a pepper red raptor coming in 2 months. Would the toyota ladt longer with less issues? UNDOUBTIBLY, but for 65k? Fuvk that

Nothing about the drive train including difference in front limited slip vs ZR2 full locker. The ZR2 is a good 7K less.

I'm more terrified of dealer markup. $21,000 markup at our closest dealer.

How do American dealerships get away with ridiculous markups? That would never fly in Australia.. when i bought my next gen sport when they first released, it was at MSRP. Just bought a Raptor yesterday and was $4k under MSRP

The new Ranger, including the Raptor, had better achieve better reliability than the Bronco. That, and the way too high price, are the huge downside of the Ranger Raptor. And charging a dealer premium for it? Ha! Especially, since right now, I'm seeing Chevy Colorado ZR2s being discounted under MSRP. As for Toyota, the Tacoma looks to be a decent truck, but it is even more overpriced.

Ford can’t make them in meaningful volume, so another lost opportunity. They can’t even figure out Maverick production after 3 years.

I'm glad that all the Rangers don't come with Sunroofs because I believe pick up trucks should never come with a sunroof ever. If you want a sunroof get a SUV I had many issues with sunroofs and they are very costly to fix if it breaks or even leaks. Which I had issuse with sunroofs in other vehicles I owned before. And if I ever get another vehicle I won't be getting a sunroof I have one in my current vehicle and the sunroof leaked with water coming in thank God the headliner was not moldy so I was able to use the same headliner but when the sunroof goes very costly to fix or replace it's not worth it in my opinion to have a sunroof.

Watch majority of your videos, but this one takes the cake. Ford messed up a great name doing this to the Bronco and Ranger. There just something special about the F150 Raptor. Bronco and Ranger are not raptors and don't hold a light to the battle proven F150. I guess they do what they can to make money on these 2 light weights. Can't believe people actually buy this crap
