The second Ineos model is the Grenadier Quartermaster pickup. The Grenadier SUV and Quartermaster were inspired by the original Land Rover Defender. This shows in the flat-topped fenders. There’s also a degree of Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon to be found - the boxy look and the bank vault-like hinges that hold the doors in place in particular. The Quartermaster pickup is based on the Grenadier, but it gets a 305-mm stretch in the wheelbase, which gives it a roomy double-cab with a box out back.
There are three key models - the base along with the Fieldmaster and Trailmaster editions. The last two names will be familiar to anyone familiar with the Belstaff brand, another Ineos company. The former is an on-roader with serious off-road ability; the latter is an off-road radical. It counts an all-wheel-drive system with three locking differentials, BFGoodrich off-road tires and a snorkel to improve water fording. It also arrives with pre-wired breaker switches for things like a winch.
