Hi Josh! We just purchased our Grenadier on Monday! To be honest, I had zero clue about Ineos and the Grenadier. My wife actually spotted one while we were picking up another car. We were so confused as I have never heard/seen/read about anything Ineos. Fortunately for us we have a local dealership in Colorado here in Colorado springs so it is only a 20 min drive to get there! We were NOT in the market but after seeing it and going to the dealership I was smitten by it! Not new to the 4x4/offroading scene as I have been doing it for 20+ years and I will be honest I was looking for a vehicle just like this! Looked at new defenders, the GX550, new Land Cruiser. I built a '93 YJ from the ground up and loved it but it did not have space so we transitioned to a 2019 Tacoma OR and did the same thing building it up from stock (way better for two dogs and family but lacked interior room). We absolutely loved our Toyota Tacoma but when I test drove the Grenadier I was blown away. Turning Radius is a thing....reminds me of my jeep in several ways but being that the Jeep was a much shorter wheel base the Grenadier turns adequately but not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. The turning radius is less than my Tacoma but NOT something that would prevent us from purchase. We actually found almost the EXACT thing we were looking for at the dealership! It was missing the utility rails but our dealership was able to allow us to get that once we take it in in a week or so! BTW.....who is doing your videography???? SHOUT OUT to him for doing such a great job not moving too quickly between scenes and such. We are watching all your videos now that we took purchase of one and both my wife and I love the way it is all laid out and presented! Liked and SUBBED!
Congratulations on your new Grenadier and welcome to the channel! Sounds like the perfect fit for you. I'm finding often that folks have never heard about nor seen the Grenadier and you may find that out when you begin driving around in yours. It's always a fun conversation. Many newcomers are surprised at how this thing is built like a tank. Again, congratulations and thank for your comments.
That was an Eldoret Blue Grenadier with a special paint wrap that the dealer had done to spruce up the car. I think it was a cancelled order with not many options, so they had it wrapped and added some awesome customized leather seating. It was sold by the time I was back in the dealership a couple of weeks later. Thanks for watching!
Hi - I used to Live in L.A. and have purchased from Rusnak in Pasadena and am friends with the Porsche GM. However now that I live in San Diego, I am literally 5 miles away from the INEOS dealer, so it was a no-brainer to take delivery down here. I've been very happy with the staff, so if those are your choices, you can't go wrong with either.
Congratulations. 🎉 Regarding the jack compartment, don’t be gentle, just give it a firm pull. Also, if you don’t want the horn sounding every time you lock or unlock the car, you can change that in Settings. 🙂

Thanks for your comment - I'm wondering how common this is? I think the dealer is going to sort mine out, but it's interesting to hear your story. Your build sounds great! I love all of the off-road gear, but sadly I'm a city dweller and would just look like I'm posing if I had all of that gear.

If it doesn't say Fieldmaster, it's not a Fieldmaster, even with all the same options. So, you don't get the jacket and it does impact resale value if you sell it.
Thanks for your comment. I would agree, but the first thing they did when I pointed it out was look to my window sticker which clearly says "Fieldmaster" on it, so they have a call into INEOS to see what's up. I'll probably hear more later this week.

Yeah Josh... the central arm rests, I think i would wish for too. My last Toyota had those. Kinda indispensable on long rides. I do really like that blue and white.

Thanks for your comment! I tend to agree with you, but am playing nice with the dealer (for the moment) and sounds like a sensor will most likely need to be replaced.
Don't accept the slamming rear door story. My rear door was faulty and the dealer adjusted it and just told me to slam it. After contacting Ineos they told me it was faulty and the sensor needed to be replaced. I went to a different dealer and they replaced the entire rear door mechanism. I haven 't had a problem since. The rear door does not need to be slammed.
I really appreciate that you took a moment to comment. I would agree that the slamming the rear door is a bit over the top and if I don't do it, the sensor goes off once I begin driving. I'm just living with things for a couple of weeks and will go back in (they owe me a detail), and we may have a couple things to address at that time. Having your information about the sensor replacement is very helpful! Thanks.

Agreed. I just wanted to ask the question and let everyone hear his reply. I think they've been having issues with this rear door sensor (based on comments of others), and a new sensor is likely in my future... Thanks for your comment!
From what I've heard, you get an order form sent to you about 8 weeks after you get your Grenadier. I live in So. Cal, so don't need a jacket like that for the summer! I certainly expect to get one....eventually.
The moment you shut the door, the dealer turned his back on you and walked off. Along with BS, like the door slamming, it suggests he has no real interest in your Grenadier experience and is going to be hard work going forward.

@@MyAutomobileObsession I’ve been happily driving a Grenadier since last year so I’m right behind you choosing one. In Australia we’ve enjoyed pretty good support from Ineos and the agents. Unfortunately, for you folks you got the dealer model and I suspect that salesman of yours walked away already only thinking about his next commission. Our agents seem more aligned with the total ownership experience.

I appreciate your clue - sometimes I think the car is too new for the dealer to really know what is what, so I remain patient and fully expect that I will get it resolved the way I want (i.e., not slamming and re-slamming), but it'll just take a week or two since I just got it - want to see if I have other things to report to address them all at once.

Don’t worry , they’ll have the parts as all the elements of the car are by the leading manufacturers in each class BMW ,ZF, Brembo, Carraro, Ricaro , BFG Ibach , guessing afew splet wrong but you get the idea. These are tough wagons don’t worry about slamming doors it’s built better than a G Wagon
