I'm sorry if you always get asked, did they fix the known problems on the old one? Cam, brake disk, leaks, cold start etc? It's 10kg heavier then the old, how's it feel?
That was the point of rereleasing it. It was built by cf moto this time around. I love the bike. You can see the fixes they made by googling the collaboration between KTM and CF moto.
@SeanFillner actually the reason was to meet euro 5 standards. That's the reason the old one was discontinued. I know this has a heavier crank and new clutch but I have not found evidence of new cam, brakes and cold start being fixed. I'm hoping they have addressed these issues as the bike will be amazing. Happy riding.
@@droflivelife the head, crank, and camshaft are all new and redesigned. This one comes with a 4 year warranty as long as you use ktm dealerships for your services.
Any issues with engine heat? I just got one and my legs are getting baked after 1 hr of riding. For the rest, the bike is great. Txs for sharing your experience.
Never had any "issues" with engine heat on any motorcycle I have owned. Are you wearing proper riding gear? Even in 100+ degrees I have never noticed it.
@@SeanFillner Txs for the response. I am wearing proper riding gear. This is very noticeable so when I go for my 610 miles service I will check with dealer. It appears to be random. Some people having issues and others no issues. I have owened several bikes and never experienced this level of heat. My last bike a 2017 BMW 1200 GSA had no issues but these are probably the best in terms of engine heat. The 790 is great in terms of riding, on and off road, power, equipment, etc. but the heat has been a big issue for me. I have already tried a few things but nothing working so far... 😞
