Great review! You are the first person to look at different customizations. Thank you! It would be interesting to know which two graphs would fit side-by-side. It looks like a portion (a few inches) of the left most graph could be located in front of the support bar for the windshield. With that thought, I wonder if two 12" Garmins would fit side-by-side using the factory mounts.
I own this boat. In order for the captain’s chair to spin and face rearward, the steering wheel must be tilted up and the seat slid to the limit. Steering wheel tilt limits the available space for the graph. My Helix 9 gimbal is mounted right of the steering wheel without much room to spare.
Helix 9 w/Ram mount fits just fine on my '23 Adventure but I really like the redesign and kinda wish I had waited a year to get the '24. If only I had a crystal ball ;-)
There are a lot of differences in the two boats. Width, fuel capacity, having two live wells, available options like under console drawers, and bow cargo nets are a few things the Impact has over the adventure. Both are great boats but definitely different.
I have a 2023 Lund. It sounds like they are listening to customer feedback: The trailers they are putting these on are the BIGGEST pieces of sh!t ever made! Totally flimsy, and mine had some wannabe load guides that broke the first time I took my boat out. Plastic wheel wells, what a joke. The trailer is a modular, bolt together, flimsy, lightweight, piece of junk. If Lund wants to keep up with the big competitors like Ranger, Tracker, G3, etc. This needs to be addressed. I own 13 trailers, so I know a thing or 2 about them. I would be embarrassed to put my name on the side of these trailers. They don't give you a better trailer until get into the $100k boats. I really like my boat, but I'm in the market for a different trailer. That's a shame, especially considering Lund wants so much for their boats. I've been looking at the Tracker trailers, they are beastly made, extra bracing and welded together. Also worth mentioning, I live in Texas and I want to take my boat to Florida. I do NOT feel confident my trailer will make the trip. Something to keep in mind if you are considering a Lund. They use this same trailer for all their boats. And don't fall for the galvanized version, it's the same trailer. Plastic wheel wells! 😂
Sounds like you like your adventure, which is great!As for the trailer, we have to trailer our boats to all lakes in our area, 2+ hour drive time each way to the lake isn’t uncommon. We’ve been selling / using these shoreland’r trailers since 2005 and they’ve been great. Sure, some models come with plastic fenders, but even in our 110 temps they hold up well, and it’s not like they’re keeping the fact there plastic a secret. I’ve also hit their roller load guide’s multiple times coming in hot in bad weather to load onto the trailer and they’ve held up strong. It’s very possible you got a faulty part on yours, or it got hit too hard at some point, maybe before you purchased. Either way, comparing to a tracker trailer is comical😂 that’s one of their biggest complaints on all the tracker forums by their owners. They’re literally having the bow stops collapse underneath the boats while in tow to the lake, it’s very common. Sure, shorelandr could do a little more here and there, but overall the trailers are solid and reliable , take the thing to Florida and enjoy it brother!
